The whiskey ain't for you mate. It is for us hard workers - the teachers on semester break. Your job is to get your Thai workers in gear. Our job is to drink copious booze and start fires on your top floor. I have matches, do you have refridgration?

^I'm building my own workbench at the moment....went to Homepro and they had something that was about as stable as a dizzy 1 legged dog for 550 baht or the monster of all workbenches with built in circular saw and all that shit for 29,000 baht - nothing inbetween.

So, I spent 1k baht on some wood and had a go at building something myself...then I'll have to add vices and things like that on later....

Anyway, I'll have some pics if it doesn't fall down

I built my own work bench.
Metal frame and a wooden top.
Just bolt a vise and a grinder onto it and its done.
Cost me about 1000 baht for the bench part.

^Where did you get the vice from? What type? How much?

I looked at the solid metal vices in homepro, not suprisingly they were quite expensive, so I was wondering about getting a wooden vice....

    A solid metal vice....

    a wood vice

You would be better off with a wood vise if you are doing carpenter type stuff.

I bought an engineers vise from a local hardware store.
It is crap compared to a good old english "record vise" but it sort of does the job.
I think it cost 6-700 baht.
