Do I need to bring my own toilet rolls too?…lol

A separate concrete room?…yes Nawty can be naughty and noisy, will come in handy….hehe

And will you be there too, might be a bonus or a curse in making the decision to show up or not, well for some of them.

    Pic pic pic …pls

Bravo all!!...............More to come I hope...
I sure hope so, as JJ have expressed in becoming the next sponsor, for his own project competition.
As the winner(of this round) I’m hoping to write up the brief for “a hobbit house“, as our next design#3. I just thought it might be something interesting.
But it’s all up to the clan,... either way or something else I’m ok with it. JJ's project should be interesting too.

Hehe…have you been sleeping on a floormat lately?.... quite moody you!

Anyway I’m hoping other 3 musketeers to join me for 2 nights of campfire fun, enjoying all by myself is no fun.
So will see what other say, after they have stopped hating me, esp Humby he should have a bigger place to stretch his legs and swing those new bionic hips of his.

Btw: charming little hideaway you have tho. Thx bunches for the prize truly, we “all” are overwhelmed & much appreciated by your generosity, Doc

I'm all for JJ's project, a rural house made from recovered wood and concrete would be of interest to a lot of posters methinks. I'm interested in doing something similar back behind Huahin.

I had the feeling you lived in the Pacific Northwest, MC. Do you come back to Thailand often? May be some time before you can collect your prize eh?

Oh haha.....I'm back and forth about 3 times a year.
Actually I plan to give the prize to you and the gang. You all deserve it as much as I do, as I will be busy quite awhile coz I'm now working for FannieMae on contract. I hope you all enjoy the prize. I want lots of pic na.

Still I will be in the next comp, whatever you all decide to do

    edit:
DrAndy said to PM him, before you all show up.........so make the arrangement among yourselves and jingle him

    Enjoy
    MC

Well you and JJ can advocate for it. I'm up for anything.
But somehow I have a feeling the rest of our gang is into some type of modern iconic design. If JJ is gusty and openminded to anything, yes this could be exciting project indeed and we all will be starting on the same base.
I'm sure the rest will chime in on their opinions.

Whaddya think JJ, are ya gutsy mate? No reason why something iconic can't be fashioned from wood and concrete.

going back next year for a couple of months again.boo hoo.
but hua hin has been my home for 6 years and i love it. has everything you need and is much quieter than pattaya or the islands. nice little community, even if they are all over 60.
saint paulo is the worst hospital in the area,(unless colonic irrigation is your thang) phetburi is ok, but anything important, skin check up etc,(ginger) i goto bangkok.

How do you like it there? I like the fact that it's fairly pretty out that way, and quiet, but only a half hour's ride into HH, or to the shore.

Got plenty of guts..... she says so anyway.

Folks I'd love to do this.

i need a bit time to get photos and measurements of the plot etc.

I've only just got back to LOS.

So give me a a few days and I'll post a bunch of pics, measurements and so on.

    Excellent, and really rather exciting.

    Cheers

i love it, im only 6km from town, and they are going to widen the palu-u road soon, so it will be even quicker into town.
