I hope you are also supplying them with a wirebrush , paintbrush and a tin of Galvanising paint.

Funny you should mention that.....all those itmes were on yesterdays shipment to the plantation.......along with all the modern tools needed to build a bungalow.....a hammer and a rebar bending thingy.....some quality black buckets and some pencils.
Couple more piccies....
The spa...
the youngest TD jailed members...
The new crew were tasked with burning all the bamboo that was pushed over, piled up and drying out.
The 2 boys took a bucket of benzeine down.
I was in the shed, I heard a loud explosion and a second later felt the shockwave shake the foundations of the rustic lookalike 100 year old shed.
They limped back up with red noses and no eyebrows.
Said 'oh benzeine not same same diesel'...
The adventure continues...
I like poisoning my neighbours dogs till they die cos I'm a cnut
^ You let little children play with matches and fuel?
I like this thread, especially the last part.
^ What? You enjoy reading about simple villagers almost roasting themselves???? That's terrible, Fabian
So it is now official.....we have been upgraded from 3rd world to 1st class now with a new cement and steel roof shower and toilet with all the mod cons except for flushing.....and hot water....and tiles...
No longer shitting in a grass hut.....no longer bathing in the river.
On a very positive note, I decided to fill in the old shitter and had a swing at it with a hammer....one swing only and it cracked and fell into the pile of poo......lucky nobody actually fell into this abyss and drowned in brown.
Well.....an interesting and very adventurous trip this last one to the Plantation.
Basically....'Surf's up'...
Our peacefull little river had us up at 3am in evacuation mode as the river flooded and rose to within half a meter in height from the shed and inside the shed is our tent....
I placed a marker at the first high mark when we woke and realised the tide had turned and within 20 minutes it had risen 20cm.
I placed another marker and said if it gets to here we wake the kids and put them in the car and pack all the tools and equipment in the back and tie down everything else....especially me 6m wooden posts that would probably make a nice boat....
an hour passed and the level actually dropped a little and by daylight it had receded a lot.
Pics to follow, but none at high tide level as it was pitch black. Scary looking out into the abyss and hearing the thunder from the churning river and knowing it was not far from you.
oh.....and during the same night....i would like to say that during the dram and lightning cracks....that one actually hit the water tank and shattered it....alas it just blew apart all on its lonesome self and left a path of destruction all on its own.......but out of such destruction, such as Darwin on xmas day several decades ago....something good comes of it.
I shall rebuild, I will make sure they put rebar in it this time.
The rubble has served as fill for the terrace area by the river and will save me on concrete.....see.....knew I could turn it around.
Must be nice living next to a nice river.
Not so nice in your living room though.
The 1 in a hundred year flood....apparently...
Our well, this was at least another meter underwater...
The big stick was high tide mark...
the water tank blow out....we shall rebuild...
the aftermath...
surf's up...
here tis how deep it was, kids already standing around 1meter at least above normal river level...
Ohhhhhhhhh dear............... Mother Nature..........isn't she wonderful.
Well you have got that one out of the way for another 100 years mate!
I have a confession to make.....
I am an Aparist.....think thats what they are called.
I have all the correct and industry approved protective clothing and aparatus....
Thongs, shorts and a handfull of burning grass for makin smoke...
Anyone know what kind of snake this is ?? Caught 2 of them and kept them for a catch and release program..
This is me in the background.....note the trim, taught and glistening buttocks...
Those kids look like they're having far too much fun. Shouln't they be out sweeping chimneys or something.
Nice pics there. I like this thread.
Yeah, that realy does look like you Nawty.
The new addition to the family is she related to your old maid / nanny, you know the one that resisted your advances and then left to join the circus?
Thanks miggins....I used some very technical calculations to derive the proper F settings and lighting allowances.
BobsKnob.....why you ask ? I never advanced on the old nanny anyway.
Because they look similar, though somewhat different in age, simple question.
So the stories were just fantasies then were they?
Come on then...share the knowledge! (or was it on auto?).. I got a Nikon CP5700, fucking useless, been in for repair 5 times or so, but it couldn't take pics like that!
I can't get the piece of shit to focus in anything much less than bright sunlight, I'd trash it but I don't have the spare cash to buy a new one, and NEVER Nikon again!
Yes they are related Knobsy.
Miggins, the formula I use is technical, to technical to put into writing and make sense of it. All the factors present at the time of the shot come into it, even wind speed. i have managed to fine tune my sensory perceptions while taking a photo to even slow my heartbeat down the moment I click the button.
Image EXIF data (1st water pic) :was curious as to your camera settings that you used for the water pictures?
I deleted the info in the Maker Comment and User Comment(hex) fields because they are just a reaaaallllly long and incomprehensible line of hex that looks like 0x13,0x00,0x01,0x00,0x03,0x00,0x2e,0x00,0x00... and runs for about a thousand charactersCode:Exif IFD0 * Camera Make = Canon * Camera Model = Canon DIGITAL IXUS 750 * Picture Orientation = normal (1) * X-Resolution = 180/1 ===> 180 * Y-Resolution = 180/1 ===> 180 * X/Y-Resolution Unit = inch (2) * Software / Firmware Version = ACD Systems Digital Imaging * Last Modified Date/Time = 2009:06:13 12:38:18 * Y/Cb/Cr Positioning (Subsampling) = centered / center of pixel array (1) Exif Sub IFD * Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 1/320 second ===> 0.00313 second * Lens F-Number / F-Stop = 28/10 ===> ƒ/2.8 * Exif Version = 0220 * Original Date/Time = 2009:06:07 14:40:41 * Digitization Date/Time = 2009:06:07 14:40:41 * Components Configuration = 0x01,0x02,0x03,0x00 / YCbCr * Compressed Bits per Pixel = 5/1 ===> 5 * Shutter Speed Value (APEX) = 266/32 Shutter Speed (Exposure Time) = 1/317.92 second * Aperture Value (APEX) = 95/32 Aperture = ƒ/2.8 * Exposure Bias (EV) = 0/3 ===> 0 * Max Aperture Value (APEX) = 95/32 ===> 2.97 Max Aperture = ƒ/2.8 * Metering Mode = pattern / multi-segment (5) * Flash = n/a (88) * Focal Length = 7700/1000 mm ===> 7.7 mm * Maker Note = * User Comment (Hex) = * User Comment Character Code = not defined * Last Modified Subsecond Time = 328 * FlashPix Version = 0100 * Colour Space = sRGB (1) * Image Width = 666 pixels * Image Height = 500 pixels * Focal Plane X-Resolution = 3072000/284 ===> 10816.9 * Focal Plane Y-Resolution = 2304000/213 ===> 10816.9 * Focal Plane X/Y-Resolution Unit = inch (2) * Image Sensing Method = one-chip color area sensor (2) * Image Source = digital still camera (DSC) * Custom Rendered = normal process (0) * Exposure Mode = auto exposure (0) * White Balance = auto (0) * Digital Zoom Ratio = 3072/3072 ===> 1 * Scene Capture Type = standard (0)

If you hear the thunder be happy - the lightening missed.
This time.
S'funny, I didn't know Nawty had an Ixus 750, that's probably why the pics are good, he didn't take them....55555
