Thread: Are Propane blow torches common here.

Before I start a forlorn quest to try and buy one. I've not noticed them here in local hardware stores. I need to heat up a screw held in with Loctite so I can remove it. My propane soldering iron doesn't have enough grunt

yes LAZADA have several but not the gas makro and tesco has the refils

Cancel my panic I only have to heat one screw and another mate suggested a 200 Baht cigar lighter. So I'll go to the market tomorrow.

Not sure about screw but a very smooth chinese gent at Swampy arrival was advertising hot blow jobs, he had a catalog of girl guides who can hold your tool apparently

That being said I don't wear the shirt often:-)

I had one but the bugger near set me alight. Flames started shooting out from the sides as the tourch didn't seal properly. Not great when it happens indoors as you go charging for the nearest exit with it in hand.

What about drilling the screw out or..... if you have a welder, weld a nut onto the stub and the heat through that should loosen it up
