    Ad Muncher

Best windows Ad blocking program is now free !
it's an established Australian company - and 100% safe.

Give it a try - you will love it
Works better than other ad blockers and across all browsers.
    Until this week cost $20 - 30 a year
I've been using it for 2 years
    and :
Statistics for Ad Muncher v4.94.34121/5550 (Free)

What makes Ad Muncher the ultimate ad blocker?
    • Blocks ads in all browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Safari, Flock, Netscape, Maxthon and Avant Browser.
    • Kills unwanted popups in all browsers.
    • Removes advertising in programs like Pando, SopCast, ICQ, Morpheus, Kazaa, PalTalk, iMesh, Bearshare, LimeWire, Yahoo! Music Jukebox, TVAnts and more.
    • Speeds up page loading and saves bandwidth, thanks to the missing ads and pop up windows.
    • Downloads in seconds, only 582 KB for the whole program.
    • Works immediately out of the box, thanks to the most extensive ad blocking list available.
    • Filters quickly and reliably, thanks to twelve years of constant development and feedback from users.
    • Protects your privacy by blocking common third-party tracking systems.
    • Blocks rich media advertising like video ads, interstitial ads and floating ads.

    Not surprising, given the reviews

Ad Muncher - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

In effect a barely functional overpriced product being marketed with fraudulent claims by dishonest folks. Even the owner of AM hasn't posted on his own forum in 3 years! Their new version is totally vaporware.
I'm sure it comes with malware!

Current version (4.93.33707/4982) has a bug acknowledged by Tech Support and reportedly fixed by version 4996. However, this fix is only available to premium subscribers notwithstanding it is a "fix" and not a version with new/improved features.
These people are snake oil salesmen. Do business with them at your own risk. Be smarter than me, pick an alternative.

! like it - never let me down - I got it from a torrent site -

I aslo like the cows head icon that sits in the systems tray and its jaws move when it eats an ad ...

Up to you - I hate add ons on the browsers.
Advertisers can pay ad blocker plus to let their adds through too.

cnet ? they used to be respectable- they just bundle hard to remove toolbars etc onto all their downloads now

I never see any ads when I'm using adblocker.

I've never heard of it being a thing either. Ever.

I'm calling you out on this, Blue. You rotter.

    I dumped that.

I had horrendous slowdown with it too.

AdBlock has always done a good job for me. See no reason to change, certainly not for something sounding as dodgy as Ad Muncher.

You have to have the Ad Muncher Toolbar installed instead. I hate toolbars more than add-ons.

Its nor a malicious tool bar like Ask etc, it doesn't even show until , I think ctrl + space is clicked, then its just used to select ads that may have sneaked in, or other Stuff that you may want to filter.
In fact that gives me an idea
when I get home I will see if I can nuke those smilies in the reply box, I'm getting a bit sick of Bart Simpson flashing his yellow are at me

Photoshop, Word, video players all have toolbars too.

Green on the way, very good and it shows in the hidden icons not the toolbar. Bye Sophia it was good whilst it lasted but you were just not safe for work.
