    Pizza Oven required

Hi all, i'm looking to buy either a single deck or double deck gas pizza oven. I have sent detail requests to a few companies, but as yet i've had zero replies. Does anyone have any suggestions or links to sites please.
    Many thanks, Keith.

Most branches of Makro seem to have a stall in or outside that sells Champ ovens. About 12k.

Thanks Marmite, i'm looking for an oven where i can cook at least x4 30cm pizza's at a time. I'm not sure if champ do that size? I'm going to Sisaket immigration tomorrow, so i will call in to Makro and see what they have to offer.

Most ovens sold as pizza ovens are, in fact, baker's ovens, To get the heat you need under the pizza you need a 'stone', which is a thick ceramic tile. You will be hard pressed to find stones or any oven seller who even knows what they are.

You need a stone - but they all sell them.

This is the original Rama 4 shop (loads of immitators alongside)

25k for a large oven (8 pizzas a time) with pizza stone base (23k for oven +2-3K for stone)

Keefus, have you considered building a wood fired oven? They give much better results.

Build one. The cremation oven at the local wat should help in it's design.

There are plenty of designs on the internet and I know an Italian who might be willing to do the job.

    Bullshit.

Most ovens sold here as pizza ovens are neither pizza ovens nor baker's ovens.

Yes i have considered a wood burning oven. However, i'm looking for something that is clean, quick and easy to fire up.

I do my pizza the easy way. I buy my bases from Macro. They come with the sauce. In the freezer section also they sell frozen grated mozzarella cheese. I also but their Pepperoni.
I toast the base, both sides. Spread the sauce over followed by the cheese and then toast again for 4 minutes. Slice some pepperoni and put on top of the melted cheese and finish off with 2 minutes under the grill. Fcuk going to the trouble of buying an oven.

    ^ Bleugh!

The Midget makes the pizza dough and I make the tomato sauce by reducing the flesh of a kilo or so of fresh tomatoes and a few pale green chillis. I also like to add a bit of oregano.

For a big square pizza like the one above we use maybe 250g of mozzarella and the same of a nice cheddar. Usually like Spanish sub dried ham, Italian pepperoni and a few fresh chillis. A light sprinkling of Italian herbs to finish.
