| The thing is, neighbours ARE important. When I moved the improvement was incredible. Just in the first week I talked to more neighbours longer than in the whole 5 years at my last place. Having good neighbours makes ALL the difference.. They keep an eye out, it's good to socialize a bit, they give you fruit and so on. When deciding on our new place we first talked with ALL the neighbours to see what they were like; obviously you don't get to select your neighbours for life so a change is always possible, but I would not move into a place where there's nasty dysfunctional retard noisy morons. So by all means sell the house, it looks nice and new (though, 1 floor only, that's perhaps harder to sell especially if you want 1.6 mil in Chiang Mai) but then DONT sell it to friends/people you know and don't tell them about the neighbour situation. |

I think you need a new marketing and sales strategy for the house . . . Me? I'd love to live in CM. Most likely will one day, but I'm in the middle of buying in Hua Hin.

| There are only pictures of the outside of your house on that precious thread .It looks great from outside ,and at least is seperated a little from the neighbours .Have recently sold a great house in Ireland on half an acre though ,because of bad neighbours . |

I am living here for more than ten years and I only now a quarter, maybe a third of my neighbours in this building and "knowing" means I recognize them when I see them and I am quite happy with that.

sell it to me for a mil, and I'll build a recording studio in it. With no soundproofing.
