Decent hotel in central/river side PP for $20-35/night?

I'll be in PP in a couple days for a few days.

Nothing special planned - might try to get my China visa there, see the S21 and the fields.

Any reccos on hotels and things to do/see?

Saw a decent hotel called Silver River Hotel for about $25/night.

Wouldn't mind doing some urban exploring too.

Ideas esteemed forum-people?

Lone Star ($25) off of 172 is pretty hard to beat. I like Monsoon on 130 (30-35) & Golden House Int (136) as well.

Must be popular - all booked out on the dates I'm in PP.

Will settle for the Silver River hotel - reasonable prices.

Will deffo check out the Lone Star restaurant.

Silver River - meh. If you want cheap, try Sary's Guesthouse and get their big room ($20). Nordic House is clean and cheap ($15)too. Mondulkiri is over by St 51 and has a really high standard for $25-30. I like the National Museum the best. It's got a lot of art and relics from Angkor. Definitely drink a lot of wine - it's unbelievably cheap compared to Thailand.

Booked already. No worries. Will visit the nasty/sad stuff, hit the museum and maybe the market.

Hotel's just a place to sleep and suck in some AC-ed air..
