KANCHANABURI, 17 October 2017 (NNT) - Tourism operators in Thailand's Kanchanaburi have been urged to register with the Department of Tourism Business and Guide Registration to increase their business opportunities with China.


According to the Kanchanaburi Office of Tourism and Sports, local tour agencies targeting Chinese tourists could take advantage of the 3rd Thai- Chinese trade partnership agreement, which is currently being drafted.


Once they have registered with the Department of Tourism Business and Guide Registration, the Department of Tourism will represent them when dealing with tourism-related matters with China.


Registration will be open until the end of this month. Tourism operators are required to submit copies of their licenses, identification cards and list of shareholders.
