Beer & Football near Lumpini

I've been conned into staying in BKK tonight (14th May) and need to escape to watch the football. Only interested in Newcastle against Chelsea (kick off at 7.30). I'm in the Sathon area (opposite Lumpini boxing stadium) - don't want a girlie bar scene - just a beer, good TV, not too far and not too many cockney wankers if possible.

Any recommendations?

Just had a phone call to inform me that I am in fact the wanker. The Newcastle game is actually tomorrow and I will be long gone by then.

However, I might still be in need of beer - someone a long time ago told me of a blues bar in the Sathorn area. I think it was owned by 2 brothers and the non-whore mongering crowd would frequent it. Supposed to be very small and had live music.

Any ideas?

I was trying to get a ticket for this game last minute... Cheapest I could find online was £160... fvck that.

That would probably be sat amongst the cockernees as well... Would need to be sat with the Geordies to enjoy it.

Newcastle tickets all sold out - only gave us 1600 tickets. I used to go to Stamford Bridge when they would give us the whole of the end opposite the Shed. Wonder why they are so popular now?
