Around Swampy hey
Yay, have a green Ratchi
As you can see from the video below, the 25km track contains stretches of all-weather surface making for a particular smooth ride.
Situated on an old access road, the track has been developed by the Life Cycling Club with the permission of the Airport Authority of Thailand and will only be available to members to use.
Membership costs have not yet been announced but bikers will also get access to a clubhouse with food, bathroom and changing room facilities.
The track is not quite complete but it should be open in the next month or so, and we should have more details in the coming days so watch this space.

Looks good - although any car-free road is good for cycling in Thailand. I have two questions:
1. Can anyone tell me when the cycle-way will be open? and;
2. Is one allowed to take a bicycle on the Airport Rail-Link?
To be fair, even though cycling is extremely gay, it's probably good exercise, and if it's a safe environment, as suggested above: without cars, that's even better. Do they sell beer at the clubhouse?
I thought there was one in Benjakitti Park,plenty of people cycling the circuit in there of an evening.Some very expensive bikes being used as well.
Used to rent bikes and ride around the park near Chatuchak railway museum, great fun, no idiots in your way obstructing the path like in Chatuchak Park.
