Ahh, but if Europe stopped it's exportation of 'brains' to the US they'd be back in the 18 Century within a generation or 2.

Please feel free to keep yours right where it is- I think we'll manage to limp along through the next couple of generations just fine without it...

My god- if the efficacy of those 'superior' European brains that I see displayed on a daily basis via the lager-louts and mental defectives imported into Thailand is any indication of what you have to offer... well, on behalf of my countrymen, I'd like to say, "Thanks, but no thanks."
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

No - all the Eurotrash comes to Thailand (I should know), but the US pays for Europe's brightest as it always has, hence America having technology in the first place. I'm not bitter; if European businesses & governments (especially the UK) are too stupid to invest in these ideas then serves us right.

I will admit that most of the Limeys I've encountered on US soil have been pretty decent people, but it may have been due more to a feeling of having been out-numbered than anything else... "Keep that 'seppo' stuff under wraps, Horace- they've all got guns here."

I would also think that most of them are there because they are paid to do a professional job, unless you've seen them on a Californian beach.

I'm from New York- we've got loads of people from pretty much everywhere, and many are from the UK (workers, tourists, you name it)- you can't beat the allure of NYC.

Blair tried to keep his religious beliefs out of politics.

And does morality have to be associated with religion? I don't believe in god, yet I have morals.

I think a lot of it is probably down to the non-thinking, knee-jerk over-sensitivity of some American posters.

It's obviously banter FFS, get over it!

These people are no more retarded then the Dawkin lovers, I would even say less so. They believe people evolved in their own little corners of the world, but claim all people are "'equal/ the same!" The pussies don't even have the guts to mention the differences between education, and other things. Their beliefs are no different then any religion.

You are out of your mind. Most of you all didn't have indoor toilets sixty years ago, but if living in a fantasy world makes your reality seem better, keep doing it.

Australians often think a lot like Americans yet behave like the Brits.

Which wouldn't be half bad 40% of the time. It's the other half 60% of the time which has got me blimey'd. Blimey!

    What nationality is raycarrey anyhow?
I forget, was it Albanian? Now there's a group of rocket scientists for ya.

I came to that conclusion when I read a while back how Sydney was going to ban glass beer mugs to prevent drinking injuries, very American thinking that.

Seems like London and Boston are following suit.
