They have squandered public money, yet these soap dodgers are too clueless to see it.

It's good that councils are being forced to scrap these pointless positions by the bucketload, they don't serve any useful purpose and they are a drain on the economy.

I would prefer, for example, rather than having to create Bengali speaking positions to service a ghetto full of miserable South Asians, to not let the useless, self-serving c*nts immigrate in the first place.

Anyone who tells me these bastards contribute to our "way of life" in any way, shape or form are talking out of their arses. But they'll vote Labour, that's for sure.
Yes, yes, yes, but that's politically incorrect and you leave yourself open to charges of bigotry or worse, racism!

But what did Labour do wrong? Nothing. If you were an ideologically driven leftard, wouldn't you happily open the gates to low end immigrants knowing that they'll be voting for you, and that they spawn like fish which will grow up with the same benefits mentality to vote for your successors?

That's precisely what Labour did. They gave away the country to demonstrated how tolerant they were, traded the future for short term power, disembowelled the hopes of millions in the name of multiculturalism, and when the game was up and they were finally kicked out, they left with a smile and a shrug protesting that the voters didn't understand.

Western democracy is doomed by its own short-sightedness, and its commitment to an unsustainable drain on resources. Meanwhile, all looks rosy as long as the printing presses keep right on humming.

The money we had is all spent.
The money we were expecting has not arrived
The money we owe is due today.

We need to prepare a statement of not less than forty thousand words to explain this to the electorate.

No need for any explanation, best anyone will get from negligent politicians is a shrug.

as flyfree says the party is over. just comin in to this post.
i watched the students and they were an absolute disgrace
even their petty arguements were infantile, petty
i guess living with debt will be the way of life for many in the future.
by 2012 the penny will have dropped
and people will pine for the good ole days that we had in 2010.

This is correct. But, not so negligent to themselves or their friends... I don't know how the whole nation hasn't rioted and hung the lot of 'em: labour, conservatives and dems.

the crazy 0.5 % interest rates for almost 2 years means the economic bubble party is still very much on for lots of people,
at the expense of savers ,
and the weak pound is causing high inflation -making petrol hits £1.25 a litre here in Britain,.

I wonder if anyone would believe the police if they said that they just "got caught up in the spirit of the moment" when they "violently repelled" the "students".
Smashing public property, setting fires and baiting the cops is all just part of the "spirit" too.
Just been shown on TV flaunting a pair of boots he had looted, same spirit of the moment ?
Lets hope Cambridge uni where he resides throw him out in a 'moment'

Breaking News: Permission has given the go-ahead for a rather dim policeman to charge at the protesting students on his bicycle. "That'll put the fear of God into 'em" said the Home Secretary.

The governments and banks stuff it up, big time.
The people have to pay to bail the banks out, says the government.
The banks losses were tax deductible, and they pay no more tax on their profits now than before the bailout.
Look how clever they must be- senior bankers are now earning more money than they were before the crisis.
Elsewhere, people are unemployed and losing their homes. Being told they have to tighten their belts- because their government is going broke.
The money was needed to save the banks.

Why are people so darn angry?
