Let them retrain, just like other employees that are made reduntant because they are no longer needed.

Wonder what happened to all those guys that used to stick the fuel nozzle in the car at Formula 1 Grand Prix pit-stops?

Erm, you guys keep killing off the entrepreneurs and big companies that create jobs, so what do you suggest? BTW, is the Queen hurting anyone?

Good, you love the most massive dole shirkers in the U.K., and I assume read the red tops complaining about someone ripping off a couple of hundred quid?. One assumes you do live in Pattaya (Shittsville) and wear a Chelsea shirt whilst working under the radar as a knock off plumber?.

Anyway, go stuff a few more chappatis down your neck and dream of a good dump. One day.
Yeah mate you're right, I'd whip her down to the workhouse if she wasn't so old, then turn Buck House into a detention centre for those awaiting deportation, just to rub in what they're going to miss; could fit at least a couple dozen Paki families in there.

All that talk about chapatis has made me hungry. I think I'll peddle down to Abdullah in Saudi Pattaya for a lamb biryani. I'll be the one with a bald head if you happen by, but no Chelsea shirt or crosses please.

I still think you're hate filled towards m'arm and her lot, wouldn't you say, or is this just your way of showing affection?

Indeed. If the English monarchy are so popular as a tourist attraction they should turn it into a business and completely separate themselves from the state.

This is the 21st century FFS, and we still have people born into privilege?

What's wrong with that? You think tourists are gonna go to the UK and buy plates with impoverished gits on them? Ancestry is a good thing. It's your roots, whether for a family or a country. Obviously, yours were guttersnipes, which is why you have such a gripe.
Ain't it nice the Queen lets the PEOPLE make money from her?

I joined up to fly as civil operators were not offering scholarships at that time and no way my Mum had the loot to pay for me to go it alone - so I put up with the bullshit for four and a half years, had a few great laughs and really enjoyed the flying, but got out as soon as my sorry ass could get a better job.

I was a regular soldier not a national service man ,I joined in the period they were needing them, not just feeding them when we joined our military colleges our entrance exam was the A level GCE, so unlike the RAF we could actually read and write joined up writing wow a marksman at 200 yards, didnt think brylcream boys could even see that far, you really sound like you are a sorry arse some one to be pitied ,but still why worry you carry on spewing out your bile and bitterness givesus all something to laugh at

Most people are not related in any way to the royal family. Their ancestors subjugated most other peoples ancestors. Fuck them. Turn the royal castles into hotels, they could make there money that way. I imagine jets the kind of fawning moron that turns out to royal parades and what have you waving a little brit flag hoping for a glimpse of Betty Windsor. Morons the lot of them.

Weren't we born into the privilege of a welfare state? Most people in the world would give an arm to have what we get for free.

Btw, are you bold and outspoken only in reference to soft targets like the privileged Brit monarchy, or do you have the integrity to extend your observations to all privileged classes including those in Asian countries?

Envy is a great consumer, but fear tends to make one focus.

Don't know if you're talking to me, but, the plain and simple fact is that a monarchy in this day and age is an anachronism, especially within the political sphere.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like Betty, but, her brood are a different matter.
They have brought down the monarchy themselves. The rot started when Prince Edward convinced the Royal Family to hold It's a Royal Knockout on TV.
The house of Windsor never recovered.
The marriages, divorces, greed, scandle and the many public faux pas pretty much washed the reputation of the monarchy into the gutter (Betty excepted).

The other reason is I feel that it imposes a completely unnatural upbringing on royal children, especially the heirs to the throne. They should be able to live a normal life and not be treated as celebrities just because of who's womb they popped out of.

I think the monarchy should die with Betty. The thought of a Charles III is horrible.

No I was referring to Nostra. I agree with what you say about the feral characters, but we are talking about the Monarchy not its fuedal officers.

In a perfect world I would consider voting to have the baton bypass BigEars, that would piss him off nicely, but perhaps that's not so perfect after all because part of the intrinsic value of the monarchy is its rules of succession.

While I also don't like the British system of class and privilege, it was a compromise between the nobles and commoners that prevented a small civil war (by comparison) turning into an outright bloodbath - at a time when other warring neighbouring European countries would have exploited that anarchy to invade. Is it now time to complete the circle and turn the UK into a truly elagitarian modern country with an elected head of state? Id say yes. But it won't happen for the same reason it won't happen in another country we know - too many powerful people benefit from the present system in the UK. Most Brits can live with it, so the Status Quo remains.

She did say it's a job for life, literally, so he's getting no crown till after she takes her last breath; gives added meaning to the chant, Long Live the Queen.

It's not just a Brit thing that those who make the rules rule, or that the R-word tends to spook royals and their retainers everywhere.

Far more to the UK than the Royal celebrity worship that our North American brethren have become obsessed with.
