Some pluses and some minuses there for the girls. The chrome pole can get slippery with girl-goo. Though it does get sticky when it dries out a bit.

What facts of life? I have seen hundreds of kids dressed up in competitions but never noticed anything other than that-dressing up. Are you saying there is some sort of abuse associated with dance and singing contests? I have only ever once seen a girl of about 8 who stepped over the line and was doing a performance that was sexual, and that was in a wat! Never seen any strange weirdos hanging about taking pics or trying to contact kids. The trouble with Thai's is they tend to believe anything a friend or family member tells them without any evidence. If there is evidence that singing and dancing contests are seen by some as more than that, or that there is abuse associated with these events I would like to here about it. PM me if you prefer.
