^ You should be able to get an 8% return on your investment, so 3.2 million baht a year would suffice......You've got to be joking?
How do you get 3.2m a month?
I get 266,000 a month, which If I was to live a good life is what I would like to have.
^Dunno what u are talking about.........:kma:

I think I read somewhere that Warren Buffet drives around in like a 15 year old lexus.
I read the same, in fact not even sure it was so plush as a Lexus.
Bit more info on the man...
Warren Buffett - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quote:
Buffett is known for his unconventional style and frugality despite his immense wealth.[4] His 2006 annual salary of about $100,000[5] is tiny by the standards of senior executive remuneration in other comparable companies,[6] and when he spent $9.7 million of Berkshire's funds on a business jet in 1989, he jokingly named it "The Indefensible" because of his past criticisms of such purchases by other CEOs.[7] He continues to live in the same house in the central Dundee neighborhood of Omaha that he bought in 1958 for $31,500[8], today valued at around $700,000.[9]
Buffett is also a noted philanthropist. In 2006, he announced a plan to give away his fortune to charity, with 83% of it going to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.[10] The donation will amount to approximately $30 billion, at the time of the announcement enough to more than double the size of the foundation.[11] In 2007, Buffett was listed among Time's 100 Most Influential People in The World.[12]
Quote:
His children will not inherit a significant proportion of his wealth. These actions are consistent with statements he has made in the past indicating his opposition to the transfer of great fortunes from one generation to the next. Buffett once commented, "I want to give my kids just enough so that they would feel that they could do anything, but not so much that they would feel like doing nothing"
Quote:
I personally think that society is responsible for a very significant percentage of what I've earned. If you stick me down in the middle of Bangladesh or Peru or someplace, you find out how much this talent is going to produce in the wrong kind of soil... I work in a market system that happens to reward what I do very well—disproportionately well. Mike Tyson, too. If you can knock a guy out in 10 seconds and earn $10 million for it, this world will pay a lot for that. If you can bat .360, this world will pay a lot for that. If you're a marvelous teacher, this world won't pay a lot for it. If you are a terrific nurse, this world will not pay a lot for it.
Now, am I going to try to come up with some comparable worth system that somehow (re)distributes that? No, I don't think you can do that. But I do think that when you're treated enormously well by this market system, where in effect the market system showers the ability to buy goods and services on you because of some peculiar talent—maybe your adenoids are a certain way, so you can sing and everybody will pay you enormous sums to be on television or whatever—I think society has a big claim on that.
Always seemed like a stand up guy to me.Quote:
I don't have a problem with guilt about money. The way I see it is that my money represents an enormous number of claim checks on society. It's like I have these little pieces of paper that I can turn into consumption. If I wanted to, I could hire 10,000 people to do nothing but paint my picture every day for the rest of my life. And the GNP would go up. But the utility of the product would be zilch, and I would be keeping those 10,000 people from doing AIDS research, or teaching, or nursing. I don't do that though. I don't use very many of those claim checks. There's nothing material I want very much. And I'm going to give virtually all of those claim checks to charity when my wife and I die.
Yeah I'm on there, you've just got to look further down the list...Quote:

'Forbes': Facebook CEO is youngest self-made billionaire - Yahoo! NewsQuote:
Of the 1,125 billionaires, 469 (42%) are from the USA.
That's what I like about Buffet, a real businessman, only interesting into making money and deals, and using it wisely, instead of splashing it into useless items.Quote:

You are SO right BF, they can lose EVERYTHING in a bubble. I know very well about this, as I lost mostly everything myself in 2001 in the Telecom implosion. Yes, I still have more net worth than most, but am a shadow of my former self.
Anything can happen to any one of us at any time...
*Now I await the buzzards, like Noodles, who will feast upon my carcass.
The more money you have, the more money you stand to lose.
