^shouldn't Israel be on the Iran list?

Also if you count ships, registered in various countries, that were attacked by Houthi or other Iranian proxies, then the Iran list would be quite long

That list is nothing more than propaganda willy. Why do you support terrorists?

The IRGC worship by the Jew haters just seems to never end on these threads. Not once has the Iranian terrorist government that is despised by its own people been mentioned by of the Jew hating terrorist supporters on here.

That is because he like most Jew haters on TD support them. They wave the flags at protest rallies like they are heros. They are consumed by propaganda, in Willys case it comes from his wife and her family.

Or would you act "civilized" and try to negotiate?

Acting in self defence or in the defence of others in immediate danger is permissible in the civilised world.

Yes I have a gun and, yes, under those conditions I would not hesitate in shooting to kill, having given 3 verbal warnings (in very quick succession)

    So what's your point?

hitler did it because he obtained the power to do it. doesnt make it right.

he had the power and he was stronger than those who were opposed to him, for a while anyway.

give radical islam the power and they will have their way with those not of the same mindset.

iran has promoted terrorism around the world for many decades. nobody until yesterday had the guts, the will or the power to challenge them apart from asking then nicely to stop.

if iran obtains nuclear weapons, then saudi arabia and turkey have said they will also get them.

that would make 5 nuclear powers concentrated in the worlds most unstable region, a region that for the most part still operates on medieval theocratic and tribal principles.

they are the worlds children. unpredictable, unstable and immature.

you cant allow them to have nuclear weapons anymore than you allow children to play with guns, cigarettes or knives.

Iran votes to close Strait of Hormuz

Closing the shipping lane would likely lead to the disruption of global oil supply, causing a sharp spike in prices

The Iranian parliament has approved the closure of the Strait of Hormuz after the US launched strikes against the country’s nuclear facilities.

The strait is a key passage through which 20 per cent of global oil and gas demand flows. Major oil producers, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, rely on the waterway to access the open sea.

The closure of the shipping lane would be expected to disrupt global oil supply, causing a sharp spike in prices, and could temporarily restrict the ability of US warships to exit the Persian Gulf.
trump wont like this, and the chinese will not be very happy either

(and spineless starmer and the moron lammy will no doubt suggest de-escalation and more negotiations)

    Oops.

Vice President JD Vance signaled Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium is still intact and in Iranian control, a potentially significant problem for closing off Iran's future path to a bomb.

That more than half of all Americans likely couldn't find Iran on a map is probably worth noting.

A quick copy paste and google says 77% of registered voters. Doesn't sound implausible.

Some truth in this. American trade relies not at all on the Gulf or the Red Sea. Closing the straits would damage Iran's own economy when they couldn't get their oil out.
    China would be most unhappy.
The US do have naval assets in the Gulf though and they will not want them shut down.
