I haven't watched the video. Cops should be supporting each other and saying "whoa partner" when things look like they're getting out of hand. They should have had a lot of training for doing that.

Yet here you are, talking about other posters and how they would act - get over yourself SAS-man.

Why do you focus on the topic of this thread, a young man was mercilessly murdered while pleading for his life. It's a given that you're killed many in your 'previous' life, but this is a civilian . . . stop trying to out-fuckwit Taxidriver

Not at that point no. However, I haven't seen what occurred earlier that led to the car being stopped. Something happened and one police officer in the initial video said that the stop was due to reckless driving whereby one of the patrol cars was nearly hit. They believed the victim was on drugs and at least a couple of the officers appear to be pumped with adrenalin, either from fear or anger. I think this was the reason why they lost control.

I am certainly not condoning the subsequent actions of the officers but merely curious as to what caused their loss of control. This isn't racism as such but more expectation following some previous action that isn't shown.

They will play this crap out forever. Then we will get Tyre Nichols Monument to remember the bullshit. It's crazy what makes news and has legs for years.

Cops arrested, case closed. Bad cops. Shit happens.

A group of people employed by the government to protect and serve the community stomp an unarmed unthreatening civilian to death and then fistbump after it.

How does it even make the news at all.

The fashion and the attention given of the last couple of years.
As these practices and incidents, among the policing systems, have been commonplace for decades - wasn't a conscious issue until just recently.
