Back on the F&C topic, Sharple's in Pattaya has been mentioned in the thread and for price comparison purposes this costs about 260 Baht.



Haven't tried it myself yet and will wait till they hopefully become successful enough to move into a proper restaurant location, it's basically a tin booth with tables and chairs in a carpark right now. Does look good though and 95% of reviews are positive, the guy behind it comes from a family that has half a dozen F&C shops spread around the UK.

Frankly, I doubt thay would survive if they were to take on a lease for more conventional premises given their clientele would doubtless focus on lower end transient Brit/Ocker mongers. Thai, Krauts, Indians, Russians and MEs would give it a miss thereby reducing the 'footprint'.

The fish is of course frozen and the chips look as if they have been cut from Thai grown potatoes, a ghastly product bereft of flavour and texture.
