I saw it happen while watching the Oscars.
Chris Rock has said that he didn't know about his wife's condition. Will overreacted and should be punished.
The academy has said they condone Smith's actions and Smith's behavior will be under review. He may be expelled from attending the ceremony in the future.
Smith has apologized to Rock, but way after the fact.
So can you clarify, did the Academy condone Smith’s action?
If so, could you please put up a link?
I rely on you for the news, after all.
Thanks in advance.
"That's the bald truth". I think Chris fired in a sly one there.
Otherwise, I don't think an apology was necessary. Ferk, she only splashed her condition all over social media, complete with photos- and what's so offensive about being named in jest as a successor to GI Jane, aka Demi Moore? Not that she would ever get that role mind you.
True, and days before the Oscar's she was open about loving being bald and that she didn't give a crap what people said about her.
It was Will that got offended not Jada.
Jada Pinkett Smith talked loving her bald head days before the Oscars - CNN
^^ A'www shit. I've been Had.
Yeah, I checked a report on it, and the word the Academy actually used was ‘condemn’.
Apparently Smith was asked to leave the event but refused. Still, if they ban him, the missus can always bring one of her boyfriends.
Imagine it at the BAFTAs?
Some bald bouncers would have bounced him out in three seconds flat.
But without being armed to the teeth they're a bit stuck to know what to do in L.A.
No charges laid or lawyers lined up for 100 miles to go after Smith's reported worth of $350 million in the land of litigation, Chris Rock stand-up show tickets that were $49.95 and selling slowly are now changing hands for up to $1000 and all his scheduled events are suddenly sold out, nothing to see here folks
