Cleo Smith: $1m reward offered for information about four-year-old girl missing from Australian coastal town

Cleo Smith was last seen in her family's tent at about 1.30am on Saturday at the remote Blowholes Shacks campsite in coastal town Macleod with police saying they hold "grave fears" for her safety.

Police in Western Australia are offering a A$1m (£542,845) reward for information about the disappearance of a four-year girl.
Cleo Smith was last seen in her family's tent at about 1.30am on Saturday at the remote Blowholes Shacks campsite in coastal town Macleod, which is about 900km (559 miles) north of Perth.

When her parents woke at 6.30am, she was gone and is believed to have been abducted, police said.
Western Australian Police said it holds "grave fears" for her safety.
The region's premier Mark McGowan said in a Facebook post: "It's absolutely heartbreaking."
"We are all praying for a positive outcome," he added.

More than 100 police officers, defence force and state emergency service personnel have joined the searches by air, sea and land.

Australian police said on Monday that they would keep searching for the little girl until they can provide answers about what happened.
Meanwhile, they have urged members of the public to come forward.
They earlier released to the public a picture of a sleeping bag and a pink pyjama one-piece that Cleo was last seen in.
Local media reported that the family had been visiting for a weekend camping trip, but were now staying in the remote area.

Not that any of you heartless bastards cared, but she has been found alive.

A man arrested by police after four-year-old Cleo Smith was found "alive and well" inside a Carnarvon home in the early hours of this morning was "known to police", Homicide Detective Superintendent Rod Wilde has revealed.

"He is known but I have to be very careful around that," Det Supt Wilde said when questioned by reporters this afternoon.

The missing four-year-old, who disappeared from her family campsite on October 16, was found inside a locked home at Carnarvon just before 1am, ending an intensive two-and-a-half week police search.

Cleo was inside the home alone and a 36-year-old man was arrested nearby. Police have said he has no connections to Cleo's family.

A 36 year old abo, 'known to Police', not related at all, Cleo is unharmed and in good spirits, motive totally unknown. Oh, and the boong had some kind of episode in the Police station, self harmed and is in Hospital.

If you live in Australia, you might think this is all that has happened worldwide in the last 24 hours.

    Cleo Smith Found.

Harry posted about this a few days ago, and put me onto the story, After seeing the news feeds on youtube I was so happy she was found alive and unhurt, she is such a darling little girl and so cute. It brought tears to my eyes watching the news about the interactions the police had with her and her family.
What a blessed outcome for them all.

And typical havnfun style, check out that male newsdesk guy, He could get a casting as a demon in any Supernatural season quicker that Michael Moore could eat a cheeseburger.

The latest that has come out is that the guy is a weirdo- his house was full of dolls! But, touch wood, he doesn't seem to have physically harmed Cleo.
