We are getting up to forty by weeks end and I basically haven't been able to see more than a couple of blocks for the last month, the country's on fire and things don't look like they are going to improve for the rest of the summer. My balcony is grey with ash. Needless to say air quality is terrible. I will pretty much live inside with my aircon until things improve. We have Aussies, Mexicans and Americans helping with the fires. Finger crossed no more towns burn to the ground.

You fail to appreciate how hot those 2 days were.

I got a last minute hotel pool for the next couple days. Last room left. It wouldn't surprise me if they over booked and I don't actually have a room. We shall see

I think all of your smoke blew down here now. How's it up there ? Still blazing ?

You might want to check if your neighbors house is on fire, because I see clear blue skies with only a hint of haze from the humidity.

It's been a bit cooler overnights up here so the fires have slowed down a bit. It's also been much less smoky for a few days now which is a big relief. We're heading for higher temperatures in the forty+ range so I expect more smoke and more fires upcoming.

    Take care.
