Just when you thought the smell had left the room, the orange afterbirth returns with his usual fantasies and lies . . . how can so many people(and 'his' own party) still support him.

He does inspire patriotism though.
Well, faux patriotism, jingoism, xenophobia. Yes, he does
Trump is a product of much frustration of Americans and their political system. Until politicians change their system to actually represent the people instead of financial influencers from big business to the NRA, there will always be a danger of a Trump like figure returning. IMO this will take a much more radical reform type President than there has been to date. Whether someone like Sanders could do it we'll never know. Americans appear not to be ready for such a radical reform agenda no matter how much it is needed. In any case it can only come from the Democrats. Republicanism with its roots in 1950s politics, is a dead man walking. Unfortunately it will take years for many of the people, still yearning for "the good old days" to realise they are gone and a new paridigm is needed to repair the rising inequality which is becoming a world beacon of corporate greed rather than equality of its' citizens.
I wish the orange fuckhead would die. Trump was the worst ambassador for the dissident right. Its already too late. Dissident right politics in the US is wrecked for a generation.
Maybe he'll light up our political cartoons thread again.
