Exactly Cujo.
It may be because it happened at an international airport?
Five school children die in a fiery bus crash , little reporting.
One savage Paki head criminal killed at the airport, front page news.
Go figure eh.

The man's ignorance recognises no borders.
I can't help with your stupidity, sorry.
Around 95 or 96 I returned to my Vancouver hotel at lunchtime to pick up something from my room. Hotel was on Richmond Island adjacent the airport where my company was installing systems. The ground level carpark out front and lobby driveway were packed with very long, black, dark windowed limos. Outside, inside and even in the elevators were large, black suited, dark sunglass wearing Asian gents. It was like something out of a movie set, except more unreal. I was a regular guest and friendly with a couple of bell staff. That evening I asked one what was happening at lunchtime. Turns out it was a regular lunch and f$ck meeting of three triad bosses. They would eat in a private dining room then head up to the top floor that was an exclusive high-end brothel. (That explained the click of high heels I would regularly hear when staying on the floor below.) Even back then Vancouver was filling up with folks totally or partially abandoning Hong Kong ahead of the handover and it would seem the crime syndicates were doing the same.
I will say that Indo-Canadians merge more easily into Canadian society than the Chinese do.
No guns allowed in Australia.
Wow! I knew they called Vancouver - Hongouver or Little Asia, but I never realised there was that much gang activity. Makes sense I guess with some many cultures. I believe the cost of living in Vancouver is astronomical, higher than anywhere else in Canada.. so how can these people afford to live there? I had two cousins move there and had to move back to Ontario because there was lack of housing and the cost of living was through the roof.
