Russia to investigate reported killing of child in Ukraine attack
Russian investigators say a five-year-old was killed during an assault by Ukrainian government forces.

Russian investigators are probing the death of a five-year-old child allegedly killed by Ukrainian government forces, Moscow announced on Monday, as tensions mount in Ukraine’s conflict-stricken east.

The Russian Investigative Committee, which inspects major crimes, said the Ukrainian army had breached a ceasefire deal on Friday and attacked civilian infrastructure in Oleksandrivske using heavy armament and drones.

What a nonsense. Anybody can leave if wanting to follow the American Dream. Do you know the figures?

The figures of US people leaving and living abroad are also not so low (just look on these pages... )

And the immigration into Russia ranking 2nd after US? Perhaps they should organize something like at Mexico border to bring even much more people in?

Anyway, do you want to compare the two countries? What the one had to overcome in the last 100 years with 2 major wars - and not really profiting by the wars...

Again, Russia is the second most immigrated to country in the world. You are speaking ignorant nonsense like usual. To the extent that Russians want to leave, well, everyone wants to move to the imperial supremacist countries that have criminally overvalued currencies. Notice how the US UK Canada Australia can go into debt and print money without limit ? Its because they have an imperial grip on the world.

Another report of a small step:

Beijing cautions Kiev that China’s trade ties with Crimea should not be politicized

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Lijian said Chinese enterprises "have been historically maintaining contacts with Crimea"

"China has urged Ukraine not to politicize cooperation between Chinese companies and Crimea, sustained according to market rules, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Lijian said on Monday. "Chinese companies maintain contacts with Crimea and cooperate with it based on market principles. This commercial interaction should not be politicized," the spokesperson told a briefing commenting on Ukraine’s frustration over a recent visit by a Chinese delegation to Crimea.

According to the diplomat, Chinese enterprises "have been historically maintaining contacts with Crimea. "I hope that the interested parties will duly settle the relevant issues through dialogue and negotiations," he said.

A Chinese delegation recently visited Crimea to hash over partnering on trade and tourism. The program included a trip to some wine-producing and agricultural enterprises, as well as resort areas.
According to the Crimean customs service, last year, China was listed among the peninsula’s major partners in terms of imports, along with Turkey, Italy and Serbia. The regional authorities reported that a Crimean tea producer had sent a test batch of tea to one of its China’s popular e-commerce sites, selling it within two hours. Exports of Crimean ice cream have continued for the past half year. What’s more, exports of agricultural products from Crimea to China surged 13.5-fold in the first half of 2020.

Following the pro-Western coup d’etat in Ukraine in February 2014, officials in Crimea and Sevastopol held a referendum, in which 96.7% of Crimeans and 95.6% of Sevastopol voters chose to secede from Ukraine and join Russia. Eighty percent of the voting population participated in the referendum. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the reunification deal on March 18, 2014, and the Federation Council (upper house of the Russian parliament) ratified it on March 21, 2014. Despite the results of the referendum, Kiev, along with various predominantly Western countries, refused to recognize Crimea as part of Russia."

I watched a TV documentary of a team interviewing Russians on the street before the presidential election a few years ago, most people stated that they would vote for Putin and it was especially the middle aged and the old who expressed an unlimited support for him.
The younger ones (early to mid twentieth by the look of them) would also mostly vote for Putin but many expressed that they'd wish there were someone else to vote for.
What really stuck out was their reply to the question of how they saw their future, which dreams they had for their future.
Most of the younger ones wanted to find a job/do a career in Europe, they were of the opinion that staying in Russia wouldn't improve their life, that it was a dead-end road.

Naaah, Mr. Shithole and Putin always back each other up.

They are both terrified of their revolting dictatorships crumbling.

Couldn't you find anything more fresh?

What do you want to prove?

Can you name a country in the world where you will not find somebody who would not speak against current establishment?
(OK, I would know one with current "different reporting").

I measure the desirability of living in a country by the weather there...and Russia fails miserably. I guess many Russians are of the same mind. So one can assume the comment that generation Z want to leave Russia for more pleasant locations is plausible.
