By this point you could say the sky is blue and PH would disagree with you.

    UPDATE ...

Woman who blackmailed couple over photos of dying child has appeal rejected

Kamal has been in protective custody since she was arrested, but earlier this month attempted to appeal her sentence, claiming that it was manifestly excessive and that the sentencing judge had been "overwhelmed" by the crime.
But today, Chief Justice Anne Ferguson and Justice Stephen McLeish disagreed, and knocked back the legal manoeuvre.
"The sentence was not outside the permissible range," the justices said.
"[Kamal] responded to a public plea for help from two especially vulnerable people in a terrible situation by preying upon them for financial gain.

claiming that the sentencing judge had been "overwhelmed" by the crime.
Probably because the callousness of the crime was overwhelming.

    • Her legal team says the judge made a mistake by saying the crime was "amoral"
Who was her legal team, Rudy Giuliani?

Yep, so the kids didn't get to see her mom and dad anywhere. Living in Australia or living in a jail in Australia is not hugely different for the kids.

Except, if the Mum is in Jail, she can't work thus can't send money home to take care of the kid's.

    Assuming Grandma/Pa don't have much coin, it's a lose/lose for the kids
