Prior to you showing more ignorance on the topic of this thread, I suggest you educate yourself regarding by reading and understanding this:

    2020 Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement

"The 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement is an armistice agreement that ended the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. It was signed on 9 November by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, and ended all hostilities in the Nagorno-Karabakh region from 00:00, 10 November 2020 Moscow time.[1][2] The president of the self-declared Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, also agreed to an end of hostilities

"According to the agreement, both belligerent parties agreed to exchange prisoners of war and the dead. The Armenian forces were to withdraw from Armenian-occupied territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh by 1 December 2020. An approximately 2,000-strong Russian peacekeeping force from the Russian Ground Forces was to be deployed to the region for a minimum of five years, one of its task being protection of the Lachin corridor, the only remaining passage between Armenia and Republic of Artsakh. Additionally, Armenia undertook to "guarantee safety" of transport links between mainland Azerbaijan and its Nakhchivan exclave. Russian FSB′s Border Troops would exercise control over the transport connections."

Germany is buying gas from Azerbaijan, and now Armenia is provoking again.
Armenia is Russia’s only ally in the South Caucasus. It is home to two Russian military bases and more than 3,000 Russian troops opposing NATO’s eastern flank.

Here is a recently published article regarding Azerbaijan, and it's proposed, but as yet not delivered, gas supply to the EU. Which adds some flesh to your possible solution to the EU gas current problem.

If Germany has signed it'sown deal, the details would be useful.

EU signs new gas deal as fears grow over Russian supplies cutoff

Published Mon, Jul 18 20227:19 AM EDTUpdated Mon, Jul 18 202211:49 AM EDT

    Key Points

    • Russia has denied that it is using gas as a weapon against the West, however supplies have fallen by more than 60% in recent weeks.
    • European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Europe’s energy chief, Kadri Simson, were in Azerbaijan on Monday to finalize the deal.
    • Azerbaijan, which borders Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Russia, Iran and the Caspian Sea, started exporting natural gas to Europe via the Trans Adriatic Pipeline at the end of 2020.

"LONDON — The EU signed a new gas deal with Azerbaijan on Monday, as officials scramble to secure future supplies amid growing fears about a Russian cutoff."

"European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Europe’s energy chief, Kadri Simson, were in Azerbaijan on Monday to finalize the deal. In a statement, the commission said Azerbaijan had committed to delivering at least 20 billion cubic meters to the EU annually by 2027."

"Azerbaijan was already on track to increase it deliveries to the region. According to the commission, gas supply from the country will increase from8.1 billion cubic meters in 2021 to an expected 12 billion cubic meters this year."

"“We will soon come out with a plan, where we update our work on possible scenarios, look into ways to save energy proactively and provide guidance to reduce demand in the industry,Simson said last week on Twitter."

EU new gas deal with Azerbaijan as fears grow over Russia'''s supplies

A deal for Azerbaijan increasing it's export to the whole of the EU from 8.1 BCM to an "expected" 12 BCM this year. Increasing to 20 BCM in 2027.

No mention of the price of the gas!

"The EU imported 155 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2021 from Russia, including liquefied natural gas (LNG). Russia is the biggest gas exporter to the continent, accounting for around 45% of the EU's gas imports and almost 40% of its total gas consumption, data from the International Energy Agency shows.Jul 28, 2565 BE"

Where is the EU intending to buy it's shortfall of 143 BCM (approx 92% annual requirement gap) this year and 133 BCM (approx 88% annual requirement gap) in 2027 and at what price.?

However by 2030 Russia, through it's Power of Siberia 1 and 2 will sell 88 BCM/year just to China.

"Mongolia’s Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai said the feasibility study of the “Power of Siberia 2” gas pipeline, which will connect Siberian gas fields to China via Mongolia, has been completed and that construction would begin in 2024, according to a Financial Times report.

The pipeline, which will deliver Europe-bound gas from western Siberian fields to China for the first time, is expected to go online in 2030, the Moscow Times reported.

The new pipeline will be able to transport 50 billion cubic meters of gas annually from Russia to China, marking a boost from the 38 billion cubic meter capacity of the original Power of Siberia pipeline which commenced operations in December 2019."

Added to any residual exports, 88% of it's requirements currently, to EU countries. Which may continue to still need to import from Russia.

Then there is India and ...., will Russia be worried?

Armenia asks Russia for assistance after skirmishes with Azerbaijan

Armenian public television reports that the Armenian government has appealed to Russia, the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and, the UN Security Council after skirmishes on the border with Azerbaijan took place on the night of September 13.

The Armenian government appealed to Russia to invoke the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance between the two countries, Novosti-Armenia reports. The decision was made after Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a session of the country's Security Council.

The Armenian Defense Ministry said that, as of 8 a.m. local time (7 a.m. Moscow time), the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border remained extremely tense, with positional battles ongoing.

The ministry claimed that Azerbaijan was using artillery, mortars, drones and large-caliber small arms - and was striking military and civilian infrastructure near the settlements of Vardenis, Sotk, Artanish, Ishkhanasar, Goris and Kapan. According to a statement by the Prime Minister, there were 49 victims as of this morning, though he noted that this didn't reflect the final count.

On the night of September 13, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said that Armenia committed a "large-scale provocation" and the Azerbaijani army was "neutralizing firing points." Baku described as "absurd" the claims that Azerbaijan had invaded Armenia.

Azerbaijani media claimed, citing unnamed sources, that Azerbaijan and Armenia had agreed to a cease-fire from 8:00 a.m. Moscow time.

As a result of the Nagorno-Karabakh war in the fall of 2020, Azerbaijan gained control of about half of the region and Russian peacekeepers were deployed in the remainder. Armenia was obliged to withdraw its troops from Karabakh.

    Good luck with that.

This will not end well for Armenia. Let us be reminded that Azerbaijan has Bayraktar drones that they used to absolutely smoke the Armenians the last time this thing boiled over.

So here's what's going on. Armenia is dragging it's feat on the peace deal that it signed a couple years ago. It is supposed to vacate some areas at certain deadlines and its just taking its time. Azerbaijan is just encouraging them to speed up with it.

    Good news for Putler

Heavy fighting in the border dispute between the two ex-Soviet republics of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in Central Asia is coming to a head. On the Kyrgyz side there are fatalities among both soldiers and civilians, according to the National Security Council in the capital Bishkek on Friday. The Kyrgyz Ministry of Health reported 24 deaths late in the evening.

Conflicts that have been smoldering for years have also recently escalated in other regions of the post-Soviet space. A few days ago, for example, Azerbaijan attacked its neighbor Armenia in the South Caucasus. Observers fear that such tensions will increase because Russia, which actually has a strong military presence in the entire region, is currently engaged in the war against Ukraine.

Multiple flights from Tel Aviv to Azerbaijan’s Baku reported overnight, basically non stop cargo flights. These are deliveries of drones, loitering munitions and other weapons. Azerbaijan is undoubtedly preparing for a large scale offensive on Armenia, planning to annex the whole territory around Nakhichevan and possibly further.

Armenia has one of the biggest US embassys in the world. The current president came to power via color revolution. Russia has good relations with Azerbaijan too. So Russia will let this happen as long as the territory is within the framework of the ceasefire. There is no reason to save this president. Putin has been far too nice to him already
