    Today, Just now Mark Esper, Secretary of defence, stated that China and Russia are developing, have, direct energy weapons in space.

    Luckily the US would never and Esper can be believed. Not going to watch a video of a Trumpling, did he provide proof or is this just to adda few trillion to the defence budget for his boss' mates?

    Not only is the Russian badge better , but the US Atlas 2 military rocket has a Russian engine. And Congress has to make an exemption for it every time they level sanctions

    Well, not that it's gonna happen, but if the US wants other countries to spend less on weapons research and development, how about it starts off by setting a good example and reduces the obscenely bloated budget for it's own war machine?
    Given that it suffers from at too much policy paralysis at the Federal level to enact anything meaningful, other emerging economies can take that as carte blanche that they have to invest in military technology too- or become yet another victim of a hostile American invasion.
