Japanese authorities have announced former Nissan boss Carlos Ghosn was able to escape undetected via bullet train because people don’t sit next to foreigners on the train.
“It’s totally understandable how Ghosn could make it from Shinagawa Station to Shin-Osaka Station without being spotted with a nose that big,” a ministry official told reporters.
“It also doesn’t help that all white people look the same.”
Japanese TV networks are keenly investigating what exactly Ghosn ate while traveling on the bullet train.
“Did he eat an onigiri or an ekiben?” asked one TV talent.
“I wonder if he thought it was oishii?”
