^Must be a bit of US-UK brinksmanship going on. Everyone above a certain level knew exactly what Epstein was doing, and what role he played.

Surely the main point is to establish which other people may have broken the law?

And actually, the US telling Randy Andy that he's involved in a criminal probe could be considered a 'surprise' given past history.

On the bright side, Airmiles Andy won't be getting any free golf trips to the US for the foreseeable future.

Willy's half bro lost the plot over a woman and gone, everyone hoping Andy would as well, who's next!

Prince Andrew insisted today it was far too soon to resume international travel to the US after the COVID-19 crisis.

He says we should all wait much longer, possibly as much as 25 years, before lifting travel restrictions.

The Duke of York made his announcement “out of concern for the welfare of British travellers”, insists a royal pal.

But sceptical royal watchers insist it has a lot more to do with the fact that cops in the US now want him to testify about his relationship with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Royal biographer Lorraine Fisher, 34, said: “It might appear at first glance that Prince Andrew simply has our best welfare at heart.

“But it seems there may be a little more to his concern about travelling to the US than meets the eye.”

The Duke, speaking outside Pizza Express in Woking while waiting for it to reopen, has denied any wrongdoing.

Prince Andrew won't be extradited to US over Jeffrey Epstein, says attorney general

William Barr said it "isn't a question of handing him over" to US authorities.
    Tuesday 9 June 2020

Prince Andrew won't be extradited to America for questioning over his links to Jeffrey Epstein, the US attorney general has said.

William Barr told Fox News the Duke of York's involvement in the case against the convicted paedophile "isn't a question of handing him over" but a matter of "having him provide some evidence".

Asked if there were plans to extradite Prince Andrew, 60, to the United States, he replied: "No."

US federal investigators have been trying to speak to Andrew for months about the disgraced billionaire, 66, who killed himself in his New York prison cell while awaiting trial for sex-trafficking charges.

On Monday, the duke's legal team hit out after prosecutors made a formal request to interview him, with his lawyers claiming he has previously offered to assist them with the case on three occasions.

But Geoffrey S Berman, attorney for the southern district of New York, later dismissed his claims, saying the prince has "repeatedly declined requests to schedule an interview".

He said Andrew had sought to "falsely portray himself to the public as eager and willing to co-operate", because the prince told his team "unequivocally" four months ago that he would not travel to the US to be interviewed.

Mr Berman added: "If Prince Andrew is, in fact, serious about co-operating with the ongoing federal investigation, our doors remain open, and we await word of when we should expect him."

Epstein was no fool. Somewhere he had a stash of documentary evidence incriminating many public figures, which he probably regarded as his insurance policy, and if that ever threatens to surface many powerful people will be going straight to defcon 3 to ensure that anyone remotely connected with its release start to disappear. Not Andy though, he's a naive innocent that just happened to rub shoulders and other body parts with the wrong people.

Yes because it's perfectly believable that Airmiles would suggest banning translatlantic flights for 25 years.

Ask Cujo he devours his favourite Guardian fantasy daily.

One never knows what type of microbes/creatures may inhabit the place in the future. Degradation to green cancerous slime is the most predicted outcome.

COVID 20, 21, 22 .... are all stockpiled and deliverable in a midges buzz.

Pity, I'd liked to have seen Old Faithful shoot one time.

    a pretty interesting read:

I Called Everyone in Jeffrey Epstein’s Little Black Book

What I learned about rich people, conspiracy, “genius,” Ghislaine, stand-up comedy, and evil from 2,000 phone calls.

Jeffrey Epstein’s little black book is one of the most cursed documents ever compiled in this miserable, dying country. Totaling 97 pages and containing the names, numbers, and addresses of a considerable cross section of the global elite, Epstein’s personal contact book first turned up in a courtroom in 2009 after his former butler, Alfredo Rodriguez, tried to sell it to lawyers representing Epstein’s victims for $50,000. Rodriguez described the book, apparently assembled by Epstein’s employees, as the “Holy Grail.” It is annotated with cryptic marginalia—stars next to certain entries, arrows pointing toward others–and the names of at least 38 people are circled for reasons that aren’t totally clear. There are 1,571 names in all, with roughly 5,000 phone numbers and thousands of emails and home addresses. There are celebrities, princes and princesses, high-profile scientists, artists from all over the world, all alongside some of the world’s most powerful oligarchs and political leaders—people like Prince Andrew (circled), Ehud Barak (circled), Donald Trump (circled).

^The Little Black Book goes back to 80's. What did you write that time with? (Or no write?)

Anyway, from all what's known from Jeffrey's stories - and with whom he had frequented and sucked their money from - the election polls would be very different if the poor guy did not end up...

In time we may discover that the narrative we are supposed to believe is fake and should be reversed, with Maxwell as the chief and Epstein her second in command; something to do with her dad's missing millions.

But association is not proof of guilt.
For a successful businessman to have a long list of contact details of other powerful people is not out of the ordinary.
