KJU just learned that he's not dealing with a dupe-able Slick Willy Clinton. It was far from a failure. KJU knows what he must do if he wants sanctions lifted.

When you see what happened to Saddam and Gadaffi after they abandoned their nuclear programs, would you give up yours?

Depends on how badly I wanted the sanctions lifted. Hunger is a strong motivator.

If a dick tater insists on being a menace to the world, he's not going to last, no matter whether he gives up his weapons or not.

Activity At 2nd North Korean Missile Site Indicates Possible Launch Preparations

Commercial satellite imagery of a facility near Pyongyang suggests that North Korea is preparing to launch a missile or space rocket in the near future.

The images are of a site known as Sanumdong — a facility where North Korea has assembled some of its intercontinental ballistic missiles and satellite-launching rockets. The images, taken Feb. 22 by DigitalGlobe and shared exclusively with NPR, show cars and trucks parked near the facility. Rail cars sit in a nearby rail yard, where two cranes are also erected.

"When you put all that together, that's really what it looks like when the North Koreans are in the process of building a rocket," says Jeffrey Lewis, director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Project at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, Calif., who has studied the images.

& the western media commanded by their masters will publish as much negativity as they can so they can justify the slaughter of millions in the name of 'Peace"
Maybe a branch of the world bank, offices for the IMF & a branch of MD as well
& lets not forget lots of new buildings for the United nations, be needed for future regime change in the area.

North Korea may suspend talks with 'gangster-like' U.S., rethink nuclear test freeze

SEOUL/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - North Korea is considering suspending talks with the United States and may rethink a freeze on missile and nuclear tests unless Washington makes concessions, a senior diplomat said on Friday, according to news reports from the North’s capital.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the United States wished to continue talks with North Korea and had “every expectation” that its leader, Kim Jong Un, would stick to pledges not to resume nuclear and missile testing.

Pompeo gave no sign of U.S. willingness to soften its stance in demanding that North Korea give up its nuclear weapons.

North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui blamed top U.S. officials for the breakdown of last month’s summit between Kim and U.S. President Donald Trump in Hanoi, Russia’s TASS news agency and the Associated Press reported.

“We have no intention to yield to the U.S. demands (at the Hanoi summit) in any form, nor are we willing to engage in negotiations of this kind,” TASS quoted Choe as telling reporters in the North Korean capital.

    ---

Earlier on Friday, a spokeswoman for South Korea’s Ministry of Unification told a press briefing that the weekly inter-Korean meeting scheduled at a liaison office in Kaesong, North Korea, had been canceled after the North Koreans said they would not be sending senior officials.

The spokeswoman said the ministry had not confirmed why the North Korean officials decided not to attend.

Got to laugh at Trump and all his trumpanzees bleating at how Trump had somehow succeeded with Fatboy and the world was now a better place.

Kim Jong-un vows to deliver 'serious blow' over sanctions
North Korean leader says ‘hostile forces’ are determined to bring country to its knees.
has vowed to deliver a “serious blow” to hostile countries he accused of using sanctions to bring the regime “to its knees”, according to the country’s state media.

The North Korean leader’s broadside against measures imposed in response to missile and nuclear programmes comes weeks after his second summit with Donald Trump ended in failure after they disagreed on how to match sanctions relief with progress on denuclearisation.

We must deal a serious blow to the hostile forces who are mistakenly determined to bring us to our knees with sanctions by advancing the socialist construction to a high level of self-reliance that fits our circumstances and state, based on our own power, technology and resources,” Kim said, according to the state news agency KCNA.

Speaking at a plenary session of the central committee of the ruling Workers’ party of Korea on Wednesday, Kim did not mention the US by name or refer to North Korean nuclear weapons, but analysts saw his reference to “hostile forces” as a clear attempt to increase pressure on Washington.

What with their current dependency on hydro for their electricity a nice shiny, base load, Nuclear power station, to obtain some "energy security" , must be high on their Moscow shopping list.

Russia would of course be available to ship "all" the highly radiated spent fuel to Russia for "safe keeping".

North Korean leader sets year-end as deadline for Trump to change his attitude

Kim Jong Un takes the train to Vietnam for meeting with Trump.-1218814-jpg

    PYONGYANG, April 13. /TASS/.

"North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said he was ready to wait for US President Donald Trump to change his attitude to denuclearization talks until the end of the year, the state-run KCNA news agency reported on Saturday.

"Until the end of the year, I will be patient, I will wait for the US president, although it will be difficult to come up with an opportunity as good as it was last time [during the February 27-28 summit in Vietnam’s Hanoi]," he said, adding that holding a third summit would require "constructive decisions for the improvement of relations."

"If we [the United States and North Korea] want to hold the third summit with proper attitude and proper solutions, which we are ready to share with our partners, then we would like to give it one more try," the North Korean leader said during his speech to members of the country’s Supreme People’s Assembly.

He also said that despite the failure of their latest talks, his personal relations with Donald Trump remained good.

"As President Trump continues to note, personal relations between myself and President Trump are not as hostile as the relations between our two nations," Kim said. "We still enjoy good relations and, if we think so, we can exchange letters."

The latest summit between Trump and Kim Jong Un took place in Hanoi on February 27-28. The leaders discussed the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the normalization of relations between Washington and Pyongyang. The sides failed to come to an agreement during the summit and did not adopt a joint statement, promising to continue the talks at a later time. The first Trump-Kim summit took place on June 12, 2018 in Singapore."
