    How about this...

Iran: Riyadh would not have murdered Khashoggi without U.S. protection
    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-s...KCN1MY132?il=0

“No one would imagine that in today’s world and a new century that we would witness such an organized murder and a system would plan out such a heinous murder,” Rouhani said, according to IRNA.
“I don’t think that a country would dare commit such a crime without the protection of America.”

Why do I think this? Turkey has been drip feeding information, leaking it bits at a time. At first the Saudis deny, deny, deny, then they squirm, then squirm some more, then they admit to something. Turkey can only do this if they have the information, or are cleverly putting bits together to force the Saudis into admitting something. The Turks have not blamed MBS directly. No, that would be too much too soon, playing their ace card too early. And I do think they have that ace card. That's why they are so confident and why they can play it this way. The way the Turks are doing it, the Saudis have the opportunity to tell the truth ... or lie. Each time they lie, they lose more credibility. But when they admit to something, they also lose credibility. So the Turks drag it out of them a bit at a time. The Saudi establishment will be in turmoil. Some Saudis have lost and some will lose their jobs, some will likely lose their heads. And when the Turks eventually play their ace card, MBS will fall, though perhaps not by the sword. In the end, a new Saudi crown prince will take the place of MBS and Turkey will get the credit for exposing the Saudis' nastiness. Perhaps the Turks hope or expect to gain more than that. I don't know. But that's my idea. It seems plausible. What do you think?
Plausible, if Erdogan has a) the goods, preferably obtained 'legally' for a 'civilised' audience, b) the understanding and intelligence to put together such a plan, c) the discipline to see it though, and d) the stamina to do so without premature ejaculation.

In my experience the Gulf Arabs get on OK most of the time, providing they are all Sunni; so generally speaking, you're just wrong about that part. The rest... oh yes.

A Bahraini did quite a quite amusing skit at the Edinburgh Festival a few years ago, showing how to tell them apart.

One thing that you've missed is that many of the major tribes in the Gulf span multiple countries, and many have multiple citizenships because of their loyalties to the various rulers.

    Those evil rogues planned it.

Saudi Crisis Response now going according to plan.

Saudi prosecutors have called the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi "premeditated" for the first time, two days after Turkey's president also made the claim.

The Washington Post columnist's killing in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2 was carried out with "prior intention," Saudi Attorney General Saud al-Mojeb said Thursday, according to the state-run Saudi Press Agency.

Prosecutors reached that conclusion based on information
Saudi Arabia received from Turkey as part of the countries' joint investigation into Khashoggi's death, according to the statement from the attorney general.

Doesn't make sense for Saudi prosecutors to claim Saudi premeditation, surely they should be blaming Russia or Trump rather than point at a rogue crown prince, if they know what's good for them!

You wouldn't happen to be thinking of the Iranian comedian performing in Doha, would you?

Nothing, Dimwit. You're very unimaginative and always fail to understand anything that is even slightly out of the box thinking.
Do you, like Harry, think Harry is infallible?
When he mentioned a Bahraini comic having a piece about distinguishing Arabs, I recalled the Iranian comic who did the same, and I mistakenly thought his act was done in Bahrain, but nonetheless thought it possible that he had made an innocent and understandable mis-recall, thus politely enquired if his memory was accurate. I mean, how many Middle Eastern comics perform in English and make jokes about Arabs?
