Of course they are but does not change the fact they once were and still are the same people. Language, food, culture and long history. Also doesn't change the fact the majority elected the current ROK president based on his reunification platform.

The people of South Korea have spoken and given a mandate to the Pres to unify.

Accept the fact you know nothing about Korea other than some socializing with friends.

I lived in Korea for years and even did a stint in what you once called the "blue house". A name you claimed was used by military there. A name I never once heard during my time there. The simple truth young lady is you need to listen more and talk less. Your knowlege of the world is at best very shallow.

    Now off you go.

^Haha, well you'll never know or want to know what I know obviously. It is quite obvious that all I get treated like is someone who deems disrespect. I won't bother posting with shits like this. I like to be where people respect my opinion, not like this place. Ciao.

Just watching on Satellite TV SK station Arirang: "We Are One" 2018 Pyongyang Concert for Peace and Cooperation

“We are One” musical performance is a big hit in Pyongyang

South and North Korean music groups came together to make lasting memories with their performance at the Chung Ju-yung Gymnasium in Pyongyang on Apr. 3. The concert was the second and final show of the South Korean side’s visit to North Korea. The peak of the concert came when South and North Korean singers came together to sing, “Our Wish is Unification.” Audience members clapped and swayed to the music, while senior officials from both South and North Korea held hands and sang along. Following the performance, the Korean musicians posed together for a commemorative photo.

You are implying you are a 'travelled" , wordwise person. You've stated you have lived in ROK for 4 years. I was requesting your proof of all your other working/living in countries where you absorbed such a lot of their culture you feel able to pronounce your opinion as fact. Your travelling obliviously only exists in the empty space between your ears and in your full of empty pages passport. Your knowledge of other countries is minimal and from the quality of your quoted sources, biased.

    Sad.

    Haha, good try.
Have you been to the DMZ? Have you been to twenty different cities and climbed 10 mountains or did a Buddhist retreat in the mountains of South Korea? Do you know much Hangeul or have you taught in public schools where you were the only foreigner in a school and town?

Don't you dare minimize my experience and what I know. That says volumes about what type of person you are.

^^^Simply because you continue to post idiocy all over the forum. You are stupid, posters hate you, you have repeatedly shown that you are barely literate. You have flounced dozens of times. You are almost into negative repo. So you attack Norton...one of the most balanced posters on TD. You really are a dim bulb.

Says the bint that accuses the South Korean people of hating the North Koreans and yet they voted for a pro-unification President.

In other words I was stationed at the DMZ back in my military days

I lived and did business in ROK for years. Spoke a fair bit of the language. Met often with government and business folks. Made lots of money and moved on.

Damn, never did a Buddhist retreat or taught school. Ya got one up on me there by gum. Ok. I concede to your superior knowlege of all things Korean.
