Don't see much of it being down to the self appointed The World Police Force, but more to do with President Xi telling their little lap dog to jump through the hoop.

Being medically trained i could suggest some meds for you, but you seem so distanced from reality that I wouldn't feel comfortable subscribing you anything without a personal diagnosis. But from afar batshit crazy is my initial diagnosis.

Did you regularly write subscriptions for patients?

Notwithstanding all the hows and whys the Fat Boy had to come with his ears and cock down I stand with my kudos to the SK president Moon who has done the trick.

All this is not for a de-nuclearization but de-separation. For that the SK have engaged a lot of staff to care for.

Then, of course, the golden Don with his Melody Boys have no other choice than to jump on the band wagon - for the moment. They have got some time to look out for a "solution" - that's why the first date was April, later May, now June? They do not have so many vacations at McDonald (and Starbuck either) for the 30,000 servicemen/women, do they? (anybody likes to be served?)

The DPRK President crossed the border with his head held high. He obviously (watch the video), or the prearranged "surprise", suggested to the ROK President to cross-back into North Korea. NO limp dick or embarrassment.

But I concur the ROK President and his government have taken an ambitious step.

    De-nuclearization is a wish.

Ambitious but he made no secret of his intentions during the Presidential campaign. He was elected in spite of hard line opposition.

No doubt Kim faces hard line resistance back home so to a degree he is taking more risk than ROK pres.

Yep. The most powerful man in the world is the puppet master behind all this. China's goal is to get US influence out of Asia. Demilitartion of the Korean penninsula is certainly a big step toward it's goal. China's tightening of trade with NK had nothing to do with appeasing Trump. It was to show Kim who held all the cards and he best do what he is told to do. Let us not forget Kim made a visit to China before any of this reconcilliation talk ever started. Kim was no doubt told exactly what to do or else.

How sweet that they met at the DMZ and planted a tree together. I don't think there was ever a serious threat by NK leader to nuke SK.. just veiled threats that were an ongoing attention seeking dramatization by Kim.

NK and SK won't ever unificate as they are just too different. Another paparazzi moment imo for the powers that be.
The crossing of the demarcation line was kind of cool.. I remember being there at that spot a long time ago.

I'm pretty sure they won't ever "unificate" either, whatever the fuck that means.

What you're forgetting is that it's only 70-odd years ago that they were one country and for 35 years before that it was under Japanese rule; There are plenty of families related on either side of the divide - not to mention a common language.

They will unify eventually. Just look at the Berlin Wall. Dictators don't last forever, ask Honecker/Saddam/Qadafi/Amin, etc.

I presume by back home you mean DPRK rather than China, if correct the sheeple ^ who believe he is beyond the pale already.

"Won't ever" is an awfully long time.

One advantage of recording events on video is that it makes any attempt to be "selective" or biased to reinforce previous portrayed agendas, in the reports obvious.

In this case the first reports announce that in headlines and photos that the DPRK President crossed the border into ROK. The later videos showed that the ROK President, also, crossed the border into DPRK, was not "reported" or illustrated.

In addition after the two Presidents returned to the ROK side, the ROK President indicated, by gesturing, it was time to 'move on". At this point the DPRK President suggested, or kept to the script, that the ROK President may wish to reciprocate and step over into DRPK. That to me, was the most interesting and poignant moment.

If part of the scripted , "world event" was exceptionally delivered. If an off the cuff suggestion it indicated, both the Presidents were confident enough and able to think and act on the spot.

Some alleged "world" leaders would not be that accommodating IMHO.

Yes, 30,000 defectors live in South Korea feeling like strangers and not treated well at all. Like this lady's story. Hopefully she can return to her home in NK this year.

Perhaps, but I highly doubt in my lifetime. From what I know, they are very different countries. South Korean people don't like to even want to recognize North Korea and I certainly learned the hard way never to call South Korea.. 'Korea'. It is South Korea to them.
