Yes, it was known as such then. Before that it was known as the Levant etc etc etc....

Russia wasn't Russia either, it was Kievian Ruthenia. So, people like you don't belong

At that time the region could have had peace. History could have been very different. The Palestineans decided instead to try and drive the jewish settlers into the sea and they lost. Like they lost every later war they waged. It had consequences they will live or die with.

Naaa Sabang, I'm a peaceful guy who cares more for the environment then people. I just let some steam off here at TD and sometimes party on the weekend with fucking Auslaender [German,Thai, French, U.S., Kazakhstan, Siberia, Moldavia (she' a stunner ), Ukraine, Aserbaidschan etc.]. The Russians make the best schaschlik I ever ate. I of course throw on my smoker and it's rips time.

When my son was young he used to bring some muslim friends around and I made them BBQ lamp. They loved it. Now they come around and I fix their IPhones. All good here in Germanistan

Anyway, I think Biden wrapped it up short and simple here:

The US President believes sustainable peace in the Middle East is only possible if all actors recognize Israel's right to exist. He blames extremists on both sides for the clashes in Jerusalem. US President Joe Biden believes that only a two-state solution will pacify in the long term. “That's the only answer, the only answer

Jeezus I just re-read my post. Come to think of it I hardly have any german friends
Not counting the Whackos here on TD

Actually, it can't. What you're talking about is the changing of history by your government.

But important now is that the war is over. And all that thanks to who?

“Over the last 11 days, I spoke with the prime minister six times. I’ve also spoken with President Abbas and the Palestinian Authority more the once and part of our intense diplomatic engagement,” Biden said, “And I want to also thank secretary of state, the secretary of defense, our national security adviser, and everyone on our team for their incredible efforts to bring this about, this outcome that we’re about to see.

“You know, we’ve held intensive, high-level discussions, hour by hour, literally, Egypt, the Palestinian Authority and other Middle Eastern countries, with an aim of avoiding this sort of prolonged conflict we’ve seen in previous years when the hostilities have broken out.”
Oh yeeh, also the Egypt (but they did not called 6 times...)

(Same same as with the WW2 victors...)

Yes, there are some news that in Italy the dockers refuse to reload the weaponry shipment for Israel...

Usually, it always had been Israel that did not allow any shipments to Palestine...

Remembering the action where the ships with food deliveries were bombarded, shot, few people dead, never mind the US congresswoman on board... Cannot imagine what the "international community" would do in such a case at other country... (Novichok on knob of the door ?)

    I don't wanna talk
    About things we've gone through
    Though it's hurting me
    Now it's history

    I've played all my cards
And that's what you've done too
    Nothing more to say
    No more ace to play
    The winner takes it all
    The loser's standing small
    Beside the victory
    That's her destiny
    I was in your arms
    Thinking I belonged there
    I figured it made sense
    Building me a fence
    Building me a home
    Thinking I'd be strong there
    But I was a fool
    Playing by the rules
The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
    And someone way down here
    Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all (Takes it all)
The loser has to fall (Has to fall)
It's simple and it's plain (It's so plain)
Why should I complain (Why complain)
But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you
    Does it feel the same
    When she calls your name
    Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
    But what can I say
    Rules must be obeyed
The judges will decide (Will decide)
The likes of me abide (Me abide)
Spectators of the show (Of the show)
    Always staying low (Staying low)
The game is on again (On again)
A lover or a friend (Or a friend)
A big thing or a small (Big or small)
The winner takes it all (Takes it all)
    I don't wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
    And I understand
You've come to shake my hand
    I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
    Seeing me so tense
    No self-confidence
    But you see
    The winner takes it all
    The winner takes it all
So the winner takes it all
And the loser has to fall
Throw the dice, cold as ice
    Way down here, someone dear
Takes it all, has to fall
    And it's plain, I complain

Similarly, when xxxx returns the land its own indigenous people.

Or is there a "RULE" regarding which countries the "RULE" applies too?

Happened on this documentary - very interesting (No, OhNo, it doesn't put all the blame on the Brits - Russia cops its fair share)

It's about an hour long but well worth it

This Is Israel’s Most Failed and Pointless Gaza Operation Ever. It Must End Now

The Gaza operation exposed a series of failures in the IDF’s preparations and conduct, under the leadership of a confused and helpless Israeli government

    Aluf Benn

    May. 18, 2021

"As of its ninth day, Operation Guardian of the Walls in Gaza has turned into Israel’s most failed and pointless border war ever, even when measured against the tough competition from the champion league of the Second Lebanon War, and Operations Pillar of Defense, Cast Lead and Protective Edge in Gaza. We have been witness to a serious military and diplomatic failure that has exposed major deficiencies in the army’s preparations and performance and in the leadership of a confused and helpless government .

“You can feed the public with news broadcasts arrogantly talking about “the painful blows we’ve delivered to Hamas” and showcase the pilot who killed an Islamic Jihad commander – while forgetting that this was an advanced fighter jet with precision armaments attacking an apartment building – as a modern-day version of Judah the Maccabee or Meir Har-Zion.

But all these layers of makeup can’t cover up the truth: The military has no idea how to paralyze Hamas’ forces and throw it off balance. Destroying its tunnels with powerful bombs revealed Israel’s strategic capabilities without causing any substantive damage to the enemy’s fighting abilities.

Assuming 100, 200 or even 300 fighters were killed, would this bring down Hamas rule? Or its command and control systems? Or its ability to fire rockets at Israel? The shrinking number of quality targets is evident in the growing number of civilian casualties as the campaign has continued…”.
