At that time the region could have had peace. History could have been very different. The Palestineans decided instead to try and drive the jewish settlers into the sea and they lost. Like they lost every later war they waged. It had consequences they will live or die with.

Yes, there are some news that in Italy the dockers refuse to reload the weaponry shipment for Israel...

Usually, it always had been Israel that did not allow any shipments to Palestine...
