That's a little bit more than "He Said She Said", and any half decent defence lawyer would have been able to tear them to bits if they were lying.
It seems there's a dearth of decent lawyers there.

...it's more likely that his victims wouldn't consider him a sex partner considering his do-gooder public image...and thus his need for a marital aid...

i'm glad his egregious acts finally caught up with him....the next step should be filing civil suits to deplete his bank accounts.

and for those saying, 'oh, it was a long time ago'.

    so fcuking what?

he committed the crimes and he deserves the punishment, no matter how long ago it happened...if it were the women in your life (mothers, daughters, sisters, wives) who were drugged and raped, you'd be saying exactly the same thing.

Yup, he deserves way more than he got. He is one lucky sob after what he did. He is a disgusting pig that deserves to spend a long time in jail.

Already been happening. He already paid this bint (who's testimony & sincerity I do not trust) $3.4mm 12 years ago. There are others too.
Hollywood- toxic culture with no shortage of predatory males and rapacious, ambitious, opportunistic femmes. But we knew that all along.

^ How long does he deserve to spend in jail compared, say, to someone that rapes, tortures then murders someone? Or is that OK if it's a first offence? Keep your thinking straight.

^It's basically the 'You know what they're like!' defence, isn't it.

Likely doesn't stand up all that well in court, but what do you expect from denizens of Pattaya and Cambodia.

How about it? He has already admitted, in a deposition, supplying Quaaludes to females for the purposes of enjoying sex with them. Well, we know an awful lot of that has gone on through the years- but it is still a criminal offence, of which he is unquestionably guilty. There is no suggestion however he spiked the drinks of unwitting victims he was about to rape, GHB style. They took the pills volitionally (although of course our heroine says she "didn't know what they were"). Yeh, right- didn't mommy warn you about stuff like that?

As is so often the case, there are no 'good guys' to be found here. She, it appears to me, is an opportunist and a callous gold digger who, among other things, broke a confidentiality agreement a decade after accepting a $3.4mm settlement. He is an unqualified sleazebag who's conduct in his private life was so far removed from his public (or PR) persona, it stands as an outright insult to his fan base, and many achievements. But that's showbiz, folks. My heart does not bleed for one Bill Cosby, and neither does it bleed for our traumatized heroine.

What concerns me is the potential damage to the criminal Justice system, and centuries of firmly established legal precedent. It is a shoddy decision imo (and the more I kook at it, the more I believe this to be the case) that just begs Appeal. Yet, he could sooo easily have been found guilty of other, albeit lesser charges such as illegally supplying drugs. Absolutely no argument there.

Awaiting sentence, so have to wait and see what these offences earn if you can afford a team of top lawyers.

And yes, leaving him a bit closer to skint upon release is a formality.

He was convicted by a jury of his peers and was afforded a better defence than most suspects.

I think you need to stop being so dramatic.

there's a pretty good chance that he might not even go to jail....but he'll probably end up doing a few years.

What....home detention, due to his age and/or health problems ?

I still feel sorry for the poor bastard.

Some of you guys do not exhibit much Buddhist compassion at all. You're really caught up in the Western "smash him into the ground" punishment mentality.

I think he's going to do some time. Might be in a minimum security joint, but I think it's going to take a couple of years out of those he has remaining.

Yet, he was allowed to return home [for a few months, I understand] after this latest conviction - pending their appeal, which they're pursuing of course.
You and I would've gone straight to prison from the court house after the reading.......but the elite, celebrity, politician, high corporate types often receive leniency.

Don't take it badly Jeff, it's not your fault that you are clueless about these things.
