Lucky that the smell of one's own farts are always so savoury and pleasantly pungent.

Would be nasty to be stuck inside a burqa with some body else's fart.

To explain my comment above ... "I'm all for a Nation State making Laws that suit it" (adding for clarification) thus if Norway
thinks that the full-face veil shouldn't be worn in various places, then they should make/adjust the laws as they see fit and
    not pander to religious minorities.
For clarity ... I'm not 'anti-Muslim', (not anti-gay, save the whales etc etc).
I had a Muslim gf before. From Iran.

What I believe is that a Sovereign Nation has the right to make laws and to interpret those laws for the majority of their citizens.

    Case in point.
If Norway believes that the Burka/Niqab is not aligned culturally with Norway's core beliefs or that it creates issues/problems
with day to day lives and wish to create/enact laws to stop the wearing of the headdress, then I say ... power to them.

Personally, the wearing of the Hijab is OK and fairly widely acceptable in most countries.
Not favoured, but certainly not banned.
    Socially ostracizing? Maybe

Additionally, if a country such as Iran says that it is required that woman wear, at a minimum a Hijab ... power to them.
They also have the right to enact what they believe is good for their citizens.

If Thailand say no public drinking on Makha Bucha ... no problems.

The list is endless and I'm sure you don't want to read me rabbiting on.

Banned in several Muslim countries so why not in non Islamic ones, and this is not the same as nuns wearing headgear or veils at all. Muslim hijabs and burkas and all their other raghead variants are worn to divide people and to mark themselves out as believers in the rapist prophet -look at me I am a Muslim you are not is what they signify. To see more and more of them on western streets is just cultural colonization like more and more Mosques. Let them do what they like at home, but keep this dressing up nonsense off our streets and out of Schools.

    Agreed.

Any form of facial covering is banned in several Muslim countries, where even the hijab has been banned.
Female members of the armed forces and police of many Islamic countries are banned from wearing any overtly Muslim head-gear, as wearing such is seen as politically motivated,...not a religious necessity.

Seems to me a perfectly good reason.

I think that there are more good reasons to ban a full face veil anyplace/ anytime. Besides being a inhumane, male made, chauvinist tool.
Just imagine everyone was wearing (incl. men) one of these. What would happen ?
Cameras become obsolete and the cops would be running in circles ?

Well I couldn't find a McD video but here is, believe it or not....

    spaghetti with tomato sauce

Look at the bloke behind them trying to sneak a peek.

If they had the water-drinking straw-hole they could thread spaghetti through that.

This sheila is chowin down when she notices the person filming and then covers her eye-slit

Kind of ironic that her attempt at modesty only attracts more unwelcome attention than she is comfortable with. Would have been simpler to just blend in with the romans without a veil.

Been in hotels where these poor creatures have been eating in veils, disgusting. One on here probably thinks slurping your food all over the place, shoveling it in with one hand while holding the veil up with the other is 'empowering' or some such liberal clap trap. Funny how the left actually admire women being oppressed
