First two times were unexpected blind-side shots, problem was in trusting the nutter, both within 2 wks of each other, the last one, many years later while sparring.
I still hansum man.,,,,:)
Only one of mine was a fight...got smacked in the face with a wrench by a mate over an argument about gapping spark plugs. Broken nose to me, two broken ribs to him.
Second was playing lacrosse. Third was parachuting. Fourth and final was on the range shooting a modified Thompson which did something I wasn't prepared for.....

from the era when Vietnam whacked locals and US helped
Davis, what position did you play...high school ?
He should of known low paid low grade security staff to slow too overweight, low IQ be a cop can get as lairy as a Mick or Sooty when challenged oild/riled, whatever the eventual compensation I think he'd have been wiser to slope of quietly, now the whole world sees waht agenerous nation US is , in Vietnam he'd have been dead long ago.
The mishandling has cost Utd, and their innocent pensioners and shareholders, I doubt the CEO will be on a bike soon if we discount trolley dollies
Fwk the shareholders, pensioners or not.
You got a pretty decent workout back 'n forth. I played attack.
I can't tell you how many fights broke out while the play returned to our defensive side of the field. :deadhorsebig: Myself and two mates would get jostled by the opposing side's defensemen or slapped by a goalie and stix would be flying keeping in mind defensemen were larger and their stix longer. I never took off my headgear.
Great aerobic conditioning sport for younger folk.
^My brother played for Army and turned me on to the Washington Lacrosse Club. He and I also played on the same HS team for one year (I was Grade 10 and he was a senior). He played attack - small, but quick.
My nick was Mercury due to my speed...so I understand what you were saying.
I grew up in NY and didn't receive an iota of attention from any University though many NY and LI kids went full-ride to the better known lacrosse schools along the east coast.
Partying was part of the culture at that point in time. I understand the NCAA has tried to clean it up after the shakeups at Duke and Maryland.
^I never played again after Vietnam, nor did my brother - although years after almost 1000 sutures in his leg from an RPG, he started running marathons - which he still does (although it's more often 10K runs now as he closes in on 70).

Why the phuck does he NEED TO LEAVE WHEN ASKED?? "like the rest of us"? WTF?
Well some of 'us may meekly roll over, some of 'us' may not.
Mate, I’ve gapped a few spark plugs in my time, don’t recall every getting a broken nose for my efforts. Can you tell us what the story there was? I only ask because next week I will be tuning a V8 and I will be with a grumpy old Scotsman. Any tips to avoid mangled sinuses?Quote:
