"PC" has nothing to do with it. It's The Geneva Conventions and it sounds very much as though you're advocating breaking them.

Absolutely. The Geneva Convention was drafted during the times of 'conventional' war and is very outdated. What we have seen recently is anything but conventional. Talk about tying your hands behind your back, the Geneva Convention is a perfect example. I expect to see it changed in the very near future.

Whatever you want to call worrying about fighting by the rules, it needs to be moved more toward street fighting. I never lost a bar fight, but I did not follow any rules or Geneva Convention.

A great idea that will get you no-where....small groups like ISIS are very hard to beat. We are at War whether we like it or not.....The Germans couldn't stop the French Resistance in WW11 and look how long the battle between the UK and the IRA went on .The only way that was stopped was by sitting around a table and striking up a deal by peaceful political means
Whenever there is Action there will always be a Reaction and the West have caused a lot of the problems we see today and if it wasn't for the West's love and obsession for Oil the world would be a more peaceful place. :(

Fairy 'nuff - however the issue with that is when you take it to its logical conclusion.

If you are not concerned about following rules then you can hardly complain when your opponent kicks you in the goolies when you're not looking, pokes you in the eye with a sharp implement whilst you're writhing on the ground in agony and clutching your bruised and swollen nads, and then calls his mates over to kick you in the head.

Agree, but unfortunately he listened to the liberal progressive rhetoric that kept pounding him once he decided to go in. He should have finished the job when he had the chance, but he just followed papa's lead. HUGE mistake on many fronts.

That's a stupid non-argument, 'PC' has everything to do with it.

'PC' indicates political correctness, implying adherence to some hopefully appropriate interpretation of a political convention or agreement.

The Geneva Convention is nothing other than a politically correct international accord, it can't be anything other than that, and any signator to that document may opt out at any time, as is the case with all contracts.
