Actually, he has a point. Why should mixed families queue separately, in we choose the Aussie passports queue, when we travel together.

A spouse should be able to go through with family. He's not asking for no queue, he's asking for a different queue. (or they should be able to queue in the Brits queue, imo)

They often do go through with the Brit family members but it's usually up to the couple to take that action. In this case, it looks like they separated into the different queues. Next time they should both go to the Brit/EU queue together.

It is the British habit of following the signs and believing the mean what they say.

However it's perfectly ok for non British spouse to go through the British/EU line in the UK and for a non Thai spouse to go through the Thai passport line in Thailand, in both cases with their spouse.

I asked here why, as a Permanent Resident, I couldn't go through the Filipino line with my dual citizen family - the immigration regulations say I should be able to do so.

Immigration supervisor told me newbies are assigned to the Philippine Passport Holder lines, as they don't yet have the experience to deal with foreign passports and visas - kind of made sense.

Oh well, he has nothing to moan about then. Other than being a Brit in the first place.

The British do love to queue.

The odd thing about his story is that he said the worst incident was when his wife had to wait in line for three and a half hours separated from him and his daughter. Apparently that was worse than employees being rude to his wife - and he only made a complaint about the long wait!

It seems as if it's him that got bored waiting rather than anything to do with his wife waiting for a long time or people allegedly being rude to her.

When my lad was about 10 I took him to see the Blues.... he had a great day.... Uopn return he said to my mother

"Nana... I went to the rugby. I had a Clarks Pie and I met Gareth Edwards"

After a short pause he said "I think I liked the pie best"...........

I have done a fair bit of re-furbs for them over the years,and there not the same now. We used to go home with a tray between 3 of us,and it was straight up to the park hotel for pints and pies..good days

Misleading headline, 'Punter Gets A Bit Miffed' would be more accurate.

They could then zip us through while still observing due process. That’s all I ask.

OP should have gone through the VIP section, politicians, rock stars and billionaires.
Come to the land down under, you will wait and you will get your bags searched, depending on the number of aircraft arrivals, it can be hours.

Always found the UK to be fast and officiant, US{LA] and OZ everyone is suspect, was on the bad boy list in OZ.
Why you may ask, customs asked if I had come into contact with drugs, yes I said, I'm a cop and for years after I had pat down searches when entering Australia.

This guy is pissed because he's a nobody, thinking he is someone special.
