the phoney pharoah is indeed a gippo, he was born there and has always retained gippoid nationality.

The "freedom" guys won't like Harrods? Not allowed entry if you are wearing a military uniform.
The intention of loyalty card schemes is to encourage customers to return and use the points gained as a discount against further higher value items.
As a staff member her duty is to encourage people to collect the points not help herself to them. By doing so, she is depriving her employer of business and costing them money.
The sentence imposed by the court is intended to punish and discourage others from doing the same. Would those who trumpet that this is a victimless crime feel the same if the store in question was a small family shop running on a tight margin that could be forced out of business altogether. I fancy that the fact that this was Harrods has clouded some people's objectivity.
I disagree.
It's very similar to those little tickets 7/11 and Tesco Lotus give out with purchases. I don't collect them, so will either give them to the person behind me or leave them on the counter, whereupon the cashier grabs them. They're mine to dispose of as I want. It would be dog in the manger to throw them away.
If the Harrods customers don't or can't use the points, it's hardly theft by the woman, especially since there is no victim here.
