At the risk of being labelled a racist and of Islamophobia,
I would just like to condemn this act as an evil and despicable deed.

The Media is reporting now that they where professionally trained, spoke good French,
Well My guess at this stag, being a bar stool SAS special knowledge expert.
They looked to Me from the video footage I have seen,
That they where French Foreign Legion.
These new sleeper cell recruits signing up 5 years ago from a Muslim shithole, wait patiently and get paid to learn to kill the stupid Farang.

    Interesting take on it.

They certainly seemed practiced, deliberate and trained for the event.

So who's gonna be hiding them from now on?

All their supporters are gonna be twitchy, but who among their neighbours are gonna report them?

The Muslim communities keep to themselves and aren't well known for snithching on warriors of Islam.

A Muslim leader has already decried the atrocity as un -Islamic and voiced his hope that the people of France can stand united in resisting terrorism.

    This could all turn weird.

They evaded capture efficiently with military precision and no paradise ending.... yet.

Looks like these well trained fanatics are already eyeing up their next target, watch out Europe!

They were well-supplied...rocket launchers are not cheap.

    I see a few causes :

Many people from Muslim countries have volatile emotions. It seems to be genetic.

Inbreeding from centuries of marrying first cousins, plus very poor education, causes them to be rather dull mentally.

    Very poor education.

    Extreme fundamentalism.

    From Metro News:

Ottawa’s satirical Frank Magazine will be publishing cartoons from the French weekly Charlie Hebdo, in solidarity with those who died in Wednesday’s shooting.

“It’s terrible, what can I say? It’s beyond words,” said Michael Bate, the publisher of Frank Magazine, after three masked gunmen stormed the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday morning, killing 10 journalists and two officers.

Ottawa’s tongue-in-cheek weekly had already posted a banner on its website on Wednesday with “Charlie Hebdo” across the top and a link to live tweets about the shooting.

Bate said the magazine will reprint select controversial cartoons that appeared in Charlie Hebdo, plus a few covers.

The French weekly cannot back down in the wake of this tragedy, he said.

“Obviously, they have to come back,” he said. “If they don’t, some other cartoonist will.”

Some groups/ religions don’t understand tolerance, they see it as losing. My god is better than your God crap and that goes for everything they do, their personalities, their day to day living, in work, everywhere. They seem to lack confidence, feeling persecuted? ....yeah yeah !....had it for 30 years close to home.

Religion is the shit scourge of this planet and Islam is the biggest of the scourges!

RIP to brave people everywhere who exercise their right of freedom of expression.

Paris Attack: Terror Raid Under Way In Reims

An anti-terror raid has been launched in north-eastern France after 12 people were killed during a gun attack on a newspaper office, according to reports.

AFP news agency reported that France's elite anti-terrorist unit had begun the raid in Reims on Wednesday night.

Two brothers and a third man have been identified as suspects behind the attack on the Charlie Hebdo headquarters in Paris.

The men have been named as French nationals Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, in their early 30s, along with 18-year-old Hamyd Mourad.

Police officials have said the suspects are linked to a Yemeni terror network.

Cherif Kouachi was reportedly convicted in 2008 of terrorism charges for helping channel fighters to Iraq's insurgency. He was jailed for 18 months.

Three masked gunmen stormed the offices of Charlie Hebdo, which has previously been targeted over its portrayal of the Prophet Mohammed.

They were armed with Kalashnikov rifles and a rocket-propelled grenade during the attack on Wednesday morning.

A major manhunt was launched after the men fled the scene in a black Citroen, which was later found abandoned in north-eastern Paris.

They then hijacked a white Renault Clio and drove off in the direction of the Porte de Pantin - one of the main routes out of the French capital.

The attackers called out their victims by name before opening fire during a morning editorial meeting.

They were let inside the Charlie Hebdo building by a female employee who was threatened at gunpoint along with her daughter and forced to punch in a security code to allow them inside.

The editor and a cartoonist for the newspaper, who went by the pen names Charb and Cabu, were among those killed.

Radio France chief executive Mathieu Gilet announced revealed that contributor Bernard Maris was also killed.

We're talking Dhimmitude to the max these days to appease the mooslimes:

CNN POLICY: CHARLIE HEBDO MUHAMMAD CARTOONS FORBIDDEN, ‘PISS CHRIST’ OKAY

Politico has obtained an email from CNN senior editorial director Richard Griffiths that tells staffers that the Charlie Hebdo Muhammad cartoons are not to be shown on any CNN platform. “Although we are not at this time showing the Charlie Hebdo cartoons of the Prophet considered offensive by many Muslims,” Griffith writes, “platforms are encouraged to verbally describe the cartoons in detail.”

That's CNN's total two face coward's policy of appeasement instead of fronting up to the issue of freedom of expression being terrorized by a sick minority.

As a supposed leader in journalistic right of reportage and public comment and interest, CNN's failed miserably, as usual.

More cartoons and public debate oer the Muslim expansion is needed, NOW!.

Otherwise, a belated 'bolting of the stable door after the horse is gone' situation will inevitably arise.

Militant Muslim jihadism is here, fight it or die.

For those who haven't seen what all the fuss is about - muslims shooting, rioting, beheading and generally being bad actors again, here's the cartoons:

I agree that publishing drawings that may considered by some as offensive was not a very sensible thing to do BUT we are in the country of Voltaire who once said "I don't agree with what you say but I'll defend to the death your right to say it".

So far the French are reacting very sensibly, blaming extremism without pointing the finger at any community in particular. It seems to be understood that trying to take advantage of the current situation for political gain has more chance to backfire than to achieve any good.

The topic is not only the issue of freedom of speech.

It's about militant Islam's attitude to it, and jihadist atrocity in opposition to it.

Extremists, lunatics, nutcases murderers, do what they do, in the name of stupid religion or nationalism, while the rest of their people get on with their ordinary lives, and when they commit their crimes they benefit nobody except bigots hoping for an opportunity to spread their xenophobic hatred.

Charlie Hedbo is a courageous magazine that pokes fun at the absurdity of religion and at stupidity in general. What a shocking thought that some people would use these murders to further their xenophobic cause.

They were poking a tiger - and their editorial board knew they were being deliberately provocative towards people who were minded to react aggressively.

Their inability to self-edit was reckless. They may not have sacrificed their principles but they sacrificed their lives.

There have been long periods of history when Catholics were not at all lenient on heretics.

An anti-Catholic pampheteer would be burnt at the stake by them

    ^^ So what?

Is that any kind of an excuse for Islamic jihadism?

We get rid of one evil (Catholic repression). Now, are you try to justify this latest jihadist horror as some sort of right of equal opportunity for raghead extremists to take their fill of blood-letting?
