Handcuffed Black Youth Shot Himself to Death, Says Coroner

he's got his hands cuffed behind his back, but he committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest.

    sure.

In a press release issued March 3, the day he died, the Louisiana State Police said Victor White III apparently shot himself in an Iberia Parish police car. According to the police statement, White had his hands cuffed behind his back when he shot himself in the back.

But according to the full final report of the Iberia Parish coroner, which was released nearly six months later and obtained exclusively by NBC News, White was shot in the front, not the back. The bullet entered his right chest and exited under his left armpit. White was left-handed, according to family members. According to the report, the forensic pathologist found gunshot residue in the wound, but not the sort of stippling that a close-range shot can sometimes produce. He also found abrasions on White’s face.

And yet, despite the contradictions – and even though White’s hands were never tested for gunpowder residue – the Iberia Parish coroner still supported the central contention of the initial police statement issued back in March. Dr. Carl Ditch ruled that White shot himself, and declared his death a suicide.

In a press release issued Monday, Dr. Ditch said that based on the findings of the pathologist and investigators, it was possible for White “due to his body habitus” to manipulate the gun to shoot himself in the chest.

Doesn't seem suspicious to you then Davis? They didn't run any GSR tests, which pretty well would have confirmed he pulled the trigger.

Wasn't really commenting on this particular story. Was commenting on Ray's fixation on slamming white cops and defending black criminals. I had no idea Ray was black. I knew he lived in America, but that was it.

Searched or patted down, difference, cops wanted to waste the guy, why all the cuffing stuff and in the car.
Just put a bullet in him and put the 25 in his hand, usual suspects, Sharpton, Jackson, DOJ, FBI Holder no show.
    Not worth the effort, why.

Reach-around is on a mission from God, hence the obsession.
Seems too be in fine company here.

Its quite obvious how this happened.

The handcuffed man wanted to commit suicide so with his hands handcuffed behind his back he pulled out the gun that he had hidden in his anus, fired at the metal door frame, the bullet ricocheted at an obtuse angle towards the front of the car where it hit the air con control on the dashboard, from there the bullet travelled up to the rear view mirror mount finally ricochetting back to strike him in the chest and kill him.

He was probably an expert pool player and for him this was an easy shot.

OK, yeah, that's fcuked up. those cops should lose their jobs and probably be prosecuted for negligent homicide. they should also get hammered in the payout after a civil suit.

    but it's completely off topic.

this thread is about the houdini-esque guy who somehow managed to shoot himself in the chest with his hands cuffed behind his back.

^Ray has appointed himself as Rev Ray, protector of them stupid african-americans (POTSAA). If it's not a white cop killing a gentle giant it doesn't count. And POTSAA is keeping score for the day of reckoning. Get 'em, Rev!

    OK, back on topic...
Here’s where the official version veers into iffy territory: While a deputy sought assistance, Hammons had contended, White somehow produced a gun and fatally shot himself in the back. Among many others, Vice’s Wilbert L. Cooper wasn’t satisfied with that explanation, and after months of thwarted attempts to contact local officials, his suspicions were further fed by the discreet emergence of the coroner’s report:
First off, the cause of death according to the report was a suicide, which is drastically different from the seemingly accidental shooting initially described by police officials. According to Victor III’s family, he had no history of mental illness or depression. And even if he did, the back seat of a cop car at one in the morning is a strange place to decide to snuff it.

Despite initial statements made by authorities that said Victor III was shot in the back, the report describes no back wounds at all. Instead, his cause of death is described as a gunshot to his right chest that perforated his left lung and heart, exited through his left armpit, and lacerated his upper arm. It was reported in initial local accounts of the shooting that Victor III was handcuffed behind his back. So in order for him to have shot himself in the chest, he would have had to pull himself through his cuffed arms in the backseat of that cop car—and of course, have a gun in the first place.

The report also lists two abrasions on Victor III’s upper left face and around his eye, which seems to be in line with what White’s father, Victor White Sr., told me a couple weeks after his son’s death: “I know they beat him before he arrived at the station,” he said, “because those who were with him before he was arrested said he didn’t have a mark on him.”

I spoke again with Victor Sr. after he’d spent some time looking at the report. The man was in a state of bewilderment and exhaustion, because after more than six months, he still has no idea what happened to his son and the explanations just don’t add up.
The confusion about White’s death is further compounded by the fact that, according to Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal’s office, there aren’t any surveillance cameras monitoring the part of the parking lot where the shooting occurred.

The FBI had been alerted to potential trouble at the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office in late 2013, with deputies confirming in November that the federal agency was investigating a separate case of alleged police brutality by at least one officer. That incident, which occurred in September, was caught on videotape and quickly posted on youtube.

But they are on topic POTSAA. They're about your rabid defense of black gangbangers and your hatred of white cops which you display on this and several other similar threads.

Ray, this is why people find the race card hard to believe in these cases.
Headline, change a word, make a story, this case, in the chest, not through the chest.
Google is your friend, check out the story first.
Bullet entered right side, traveled up on an angle, exiting under the left arm pit, before passing through the left arm.

Not agile as I was, but tried it with a plastic gun, no problem bringing both arms around and pulling the trigger.

Death in custody was investigated by the state police, who called in the FBI. No case, suicide.

Cops didn't search the guy properly, but in today's world, pat searches are in, not the old run, hands over everything, needles give HIV.

Been through the HIV testing twice, blood not needles, not a good feeling.

Occam's razor, really, but it's funny the contortions some will go through in order to avoid the truth, somewhat akin to the writhings this hapless victim of yet another police murder must have gone through in order to kill himself as alleged by the Neanderthal pigs.

The similarity between the chicken heads of Thailand and the morons of Fuckwitzville, Redneck County is actually quite uncanny. That same degree of arrogance demonstrated by authority over folk they believe who are lower than them in the social order and the utter lack of respect and cynical deceit bordering on the infantile as they expect folk to actually believe the utter shite they spout.p

All ready posted, pat downs verses searches, this guy shoot a cop, would handcuffs, front or back have made it impossible for him to retrieve his gun.
No video and the cry's off police killing would be everywhere.
