A MOB burned to death a woman member of a religious sect and two of her granddaughters and burned down several homes after a sect member was accused of posting blasphemous material on Facebook.



Police in Pakistan said the homes and the dead, which included a seven-year-old girl and her baby sister, belonged to the minority Ahmadi Muslims in the country’s east. Nine other people were also badly burned, The International News reported.
The Ahmadiyya Islamic religious movement, which believes in a prophet after Mohammed, consider themselves Muslims but a 1984 Pakistani law declared them non-Muslims and many Pakistanis consider them heretics.
Police official Zeeshan Siddiqi said the rioting in the city of Gujranwala, 220km southeast of the capital, Islamabad, erupted late Sunday after claims that an Ahmadi had posted a blasphemous photo of the Kaaba — the cube-shaped structure in the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, that observant Muslims around the world face in prayer five times a day.
The photo allegedly contained nudity.

“Later, a crowd of 150 people came to the police station demanding the registration of a blasphemy case against the accused,” a police officer, who declined to be identified, told Reuters.
“As police were negotiating with the crowd, another mob attacked and started burning the houses of Ahmadis.”
The youth accused of making the Facebook post had not been injured, he said.
Siddiqi said the victims died of suffocation and that another woman miscarried during the riots and was in hospital.
Like other Pakistani minorities such as Christians, Hindu and Sikhs, Ahmadis have long been targeted by Islamic extremists.

Your subtitle makes it seem as though this item has something to do with the dysfunctional ideology. Anyway that's in Pakistan where you need to be suitably fcuked up or they'll kick you out.

But I happened to stumble upon this Bangladeshi piece about some evil bastard murdered by a mob for not fasting at the Eid prayers, and as one expects from the dysfunctionals, over 100 injured in the ensuing riots.

Not sure if we're allowed to generalise, but there seems to be a genetic malfunction with Pakis and Bangladeshis, and come to think of it other failed states though I can't figure out what they might have in common.

Could be wrong, though, and I half expect someone to be along shortly to explain why this ain't so.

Partition was based on religious lines, and imho should have been an obligatory divide.

Would've saved hundreds of thousands of Hindu lives in Paki and Bangla, of the naive and ignorant that thought they could live safely as a minority religion among Muslims.

Wherever they live, wherever they settle, wherever they go, they are never happy, never satisfied, always seeking to impose their will and to dominate, refusing to tolerate anything other than their own doctrine, and always ready to fight, if not among themselves, then with their neighbours, and they fight dirty too.

Why does the world tolerate and kow tow to these primitives whose first response is always the threat of domination and violence.

The British were opposed to partition. It was forced upon them by Jinnah and his Muslim League. Only Nehru had the foresight to realize that India was best rid of those people. History vindicates Nehru.

Nor did the UK give India "nukes". The plutonium for India's first nuclear test was taken from the Canadian nuclear reactor that Canada had sold it. That reactor required heavy water which was sourced from the USA. The heavy water was diverted to India's initial nuclear weapons program. The intellectual component was homegrown with Indian scientists providing 100% of the input.

Today, India purchases Uranium from the former Soviet republic of Kazahkstan. It apparently purchases its heavy water from China because of the restrictions both the USA and Russia have placed on such exports.

India has one of the largest muslim populations in the world (180million). Those muslims have the same rights as other Indians. Musllims have their mosques and freedom of worship in India. Unfortunately, Sikhs, Hindus and Christians are persecuted and discriminated against in Pakistan. India is not the instigator when it comes to Pakistan.

It's a false headline- did anyone actually bother reading the article? Nobody was burned to death, the victims died of suffocation, on the back of an arson attack.
