good bad or whatever...
They have nothing to prove to anyone and if this makes them happy... then good for them!
Gilmore has the best guitar tones ever!!! they are always perfect!

Mr pound hound, you have nailed it re mr gilmore, nothing but quality and style.
been lucky enough to see them with and without mr waters about six times and no
band is better live, they set the standard in the 70's as live acts and have always
been streets ahead and they make me drink stout.
They make my ringpiece relax a little too much sometimes, and Gilmours guitar makes me have a jellywobble spine.Originally Posted by reddog
Best live band i've ever seen. (The Australian Pink Floyd were a close second).

Nah, these 'orrible barsterds.
Released yesterday.
Just downloaded it.
So far so good.
Will write more when i've cleaned up my ejaculate.
Well they must have spent a day writing and recording that shit.
The only way I'm ever going to listen to that again is if I'm stuck in a lift.
I downloaded last night as soon as I saw it up on youtube. I have no compunctions, I went to their concerts and bought their albums. So, I like it, I'm into my 3rd play through now. But then, I'm a pre Dark Side fan. It's not for The Wall fan and shouldn't be taken as a 'new' album, it's more of an homage to the past. There are lots of little strains and reminders of older tunes. Relevancy is only subjective anyway and it will get lots negative comments from those who only tuned in with The Wall. And it's far more entertaining than an arena full of drunk adolescents shouting 'we don't need no ejukayshun' thinking they are so cool and anti-establishment. It's reefer music, as the working title implies. Parts are more like Gilmour's 'On An Island'. He's still one of the more inventive players and the wonderful 'On An Island' is one of the better albums of the past 10 years or so.
I haven't even listened to it , but I,m gonna take your advice on this one and give it a miss .
I grew up with the Floyd and got everything they produced as they went along , I aint one of those wannabe,s who was pissed one night and heard a disco version of Money
I want to remember the Floyd as they were from back in the Cambridge uni days .
Perhaps Gilmours trying to build up a fund for his stepsons ( possible ) next misdemeanours ,, well it is that time of the year
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs
I think this critic got it about right. It's 20 year old material they brushed the dust off and repackaged as a "new" album.
Glad it was available for free download so I could delete it without paying for it.
Review: Pink Floyd drifts toward nothingness with 'The Endless River' - LA Times
"The aimless fragments on “The Endless River,” on the other hand, are so excrutiatingly dull (even by Pink Floyd’s often-dull standards) that the band’s name on the cover feels like a straight-up bait-and-switch. After listening on Spotify, I wanted my time, if not the pennies destined for the band’s coffers, back."
They're fack-all without Syd.
Well i like it.
It makes my willy go stiff.
