    netanyahu's spending habits:

Back in May, he spent $127,000 on “an in-flight rest chamber” for his trip to Margaret Thatcher’s funeral (in addition to the $300,000 El Al was already set to receive for transporting him).
it’s worth considering just what Netanyahu is willing to spend Israel’s money on (in addition to a super-fancy bed): $2,700 a year on ice cream. $18,000 on clothes, hair, and makeup (double the outlay of just a few years ago). $940,000 on three separate residences.

this is at least the second time you've referred to the illegal settlements as 'house building.

About time the US. stopped the ever increasing settlements into even more Palestine.
Enough is enough and the mood is gonna swing against the Israelis the way they are abusing fairness.
I used to support the divide but now i am very anti Israeli agression/expansionism.

ok, quick credibility test.....what specifically were you referring to with this line:
"that money could be better spend by the State on house building"? what house building by the state were you referring to? remember, this is a credibility test.

That's a figure of speech rather than a real project. It's a rocky desert, nothing can grow even if enough water were present. Otherwise they really could build vast glas houses to prevent evaporation as they did in Spain. Would be a great project to turn that wasteland into a garden, but it's not feasible. Couple of oases, that's all.

The Negev - mile after mile of beautiful desolation - comprises about two-thirds of Israel's land area. Almost unbelievably, however, it also produces the majority of Israel's fresh fruits and vegetables. Its farms include thousands of acres of greenhouses covered with plastic sheets and irrigated with pipes that dispense water one drop at a time.

Water off a duck's back, Fluke.

If they turned the entire Negev green the same serial loser would be cursing the Jews for stealing money from America to grow roses.

The Negev desert is in southern Israel rather than Palestine- so it is not an illegal settler issue. There are however Bedouin villages and villagers in the Negev being displaced to make way for Israeli development- some protests going on about that.

“Israel’s Netanyahu brings his dirty laundry to Washington. Literally.”

“Most politicians go to great lengths to conceal their dirty laundry. And then there’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“Over the years, the Israeli leader has developed a reputation among the staff at the U.S. president’s guesthouse for bringing special cargo on his trips to Washington: bags and suitcases full of dirty laundry, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter. The clothes are cleaned for the prime minister free of charge by the U.S. staff, a perk that is available to all foreign leaders but sparingly taken advantage of given the short stays of busy heads of state.”
