    Medical Insurance - Boston Victims

As a non-American I have heard the horror stories about Americans not having health insurance.

What happens in a situation like Boston, does the government pay the bills?, will the victims recover and then lose their houses to pay the bills? or will we end up with law suits suing people to recover the costs?

    A serious question, Cheers, TP

Not much input here by Americans. They look forward excitedly to the revenge being unleashed, thousands of Muslims killed indiscriminately in drone strikes or so. No one gives a crap about the victims. Some of them will join the poor, and be told to get a job to get out of their self-inflicted misery.

I seem to recall that many of the 9/11 rescue workers, some of whom suffered serious medical problems as a result of their courageous actions on that day, were essentially abandoned once the story slipped from the public eye.

Out of sight, out of mind.
