A drill instructor accused of raping and sexually assaulting 10 female trainees at Lackland Air Force Base was sentenced on Saturday to 20 years in prison, the stiffest jail term handed down yet in the biggest sex scandal to hit the U.S. military since the 1990s. Staff Sergeant Luis Walker, found guilty by a military jury on Friday of 28 charges

Walker is the first of seven instructors at Lackland referred for court-martial.

Five others at the Texas base are formally under investigation, and 35 more have been taken off active duty while officials look into accusations.

There will also be other NCO's of the same rank that were fully aware of what was going on but did nothing. I hope they hang their heads in shame.

According to the article, five more are under investigation, and an additional thirty-five have been removed from duty while the investigation proceeds. It's a start.
