    Wrong man executed in Texas.

He was the spitting image of the killer, had the same first name and was near the scene of the crime at the fateful hour: Carlos DeLuna paid the ultimate price and was executed in place of someone else in Texas in 1989, a report out Tuesday found.

One had a moustache, one was clean shaven. He was running east, the murderer north.

It's a good thing really. Statistics show that the next 99 people they execute will be the correct person.

That was 1989. They have DNA now.

Its still no excuse to abolish the death penalty. New technology should actually lead to an increased use of the death penalty considering the bleeding heart pussies wanted it abolished on grounds that there wasnt conclusive evidence.

So using that argument, shouldn't having the death penalty make more sense now more then ever, considering all the new tech and DNA evidence ?

Just got finished reading a book called: "The Last Executioner". It is the memoirs of Thailand's Last Prison Executioner (by sub machine gun). Easy and interesting read. Chavoret Jaruboon had a tally of executing 55 prison inmates on Thailand's "death row".

Eggs and Omelettes and all that. As long as they make sure it's someone from an ethnic minority then they are probably guilty of something anyway so it's OK.

I read this article in the Saudi Gazette about their leading executioner. He was a lovely chap. He said that if a bloke had, say, murdered his wife in the heat of passion and didn't mean it, he'd sharpen the blade right up and behead him in one stroke.

If it was a drug dealer "poisoning our precious children", he didn't sharpen it so much. So it might take a little while to whittle away.

    As I said, lovely.
