Kung pad pong garee or กุ้งผัดผงกะหรี่ is a mild curry dish popular all over Thailand, it is generally made with either shrimp/prawn and or crab and served with rice.
You can if you wish make your own curry powder using the following ingredients, ground coriander, ground turmeric, paprika, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick and bay leaves

Ingredients for Kung pad pong garee

* 250 grams of shrimp or crab (shelled and deveined)
* 3 minced garlic cloves
* 2 tomato sliced
* 1/2 an onion or less
* 1 egg
* 2 spring onions cut
* small bunch Chinese parsley chopped
* sugar (to taste)
* 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce

Method for making Kung Pad Pong Garee

Heat wok or pan with a couple of tablespoons of oil in, add garlic and onions, next add prawns, after a minute or so add egg and mix in, add soy sauce and oyster sauce, when it is nearly cooked mix in the rest of the ingredients and serve with rice.

Tip

Sliced bell peppers can also be added to this dish for more flavour and color.
